You are my sunrise
To my dark heart
You are my light
And when we are apart
I still feel you with me

My great surprise
My dearest friend
And helping hand
You are my sunrise,
My sunshine,
You never leave
And when the clouds hang low
You're always there.
Always.
I don't deserve you
Or your love,
Yet you comfort me
And from above
I can see the sunrise
Reminding me,
That even though I
Was unworthy
You thought differently
So much differently of me,
You are my sunrise
And you changed my life,
Creating a new me,
You've opened my eyes
And I'll always be grateful
So very grateful for you.
