You grinned as you walked from your home to the Gallagher's, feeling pretty excited for the day.
Today is your birthday! And your family is out of town on some business, so you figured the Gallagher's would have you over.
You got a text from Carl just a bit ago about wanting you to come play video games or some random weird shit he always does.
But that's his charm.
But somehow, it was like he didn't remember what today was. He didn't mention it. Ever. You didn't even get a call from your parents wishing you a happy birthday.
And the day is almost over.
Your happy mood suddenly died down as you walked up the stairs leading towards the door, feeling kind of sad at that thought.

You opened the door, seeing as it was already unlocked for you as always, coming into the seemingly empty, dark house, not being able to see a thing.

You jumped from the sudden yells as hands came to rest over your eyes, making you laugh a little as you knew it was Carl.
"Hey birthday girl! Pretty sweet huh?"
He slowly uncovered your eyes as you were met with the sight of everyone standing in front of you with big smiles on their faces. Even... your parents!
You whirled around to look at Carl, seeing his little smirk, before you grabbed him in a huge hug.
"Oh my gosh Carl! Did you do all this for me...?"
You pulled back a little to see a small smile on his face, looking around the room as everyone slowly started talking to one another, making you even happier.
"What can I say? I'm pretty badass."
You rolled your eyes as a chuckle escaped you, before kissing his cheek and hugging him once more.
