*Megans pov*
My eyes opened as I awoke inside of, a log? I questioned where I was, why I couldnt move, what the hell happened, and who I was?
"Hello?" I whispered out. Im surprised I could even move my lips to speak I felt so paralized.
"Its okay, were here for you." I heard a mans voice whisper back.
"Lets get her out." I heard a womans voice in the distance.
The log began to shake as strange noises eachoed throughout my ears.
"They are coming though!" The man yelled out.
I heard the woman sigh as running footsteps soon followed after. It sounded like they were running away from my location? What was going on?
The log then started to bump and thump as I heard other people moaning over me.
"Someone please help?" I wimpered.
"I cant move." I pouted.
The moans seemed to lean towards the log. People were growling and hissing at each other as the log began to sway back and forth.
One of the people saw the small hole above my head and looked inside.
Their eye didnt even have any color to it, only pale white. Maybe he was blind in that eye.
But why would he look into the hole with his blind eye? It wouldnt make sense.
"Could you help me? Im stuck." I mumbled awkwardly.
The figure above me then went crazy banging himself against the top of the trunk.
I started to scream loudly, not knowing anything.
"Shut up Megan!" The woman screamed out.
I heard some gunshots and blades being connected with flesh. Which was not a pleasent sound.
More light shined in from the top of the log as the hole grew bigger.
I saw a slight image of blood splattered all over this one older man. He had a white beard that was now red with blood and those same pale white eyes I saw earlier.
Then a blade connected with the top of his head, he collapsed right on top of my only light sorce.
At each end of the log something began to move, arms then reached out to grab mine and pulled me out.
A tall handsome blonde boy held me in his lap as he crushed me in a hug.
"I'm so glad your okay." He smiled.
"We have to get going now." A brunette girl said with sas.
She helped me onto my feet as her and the blondie carried me deeper into the woods.
"So, Megan. Do you remember anything yet?" The brunette girl asked.
I tried shaking my head no, then remembered that I couldnt move.
"No." I answered.
"Am I Megan?" I questioned.
"Yeah? How many drugs did they feed ya'?" She questioned as she chuckled.
Drugs? DRUGS! WHAT DOES SHE MEAN DRUGS!
"Im drugged out!" I sort of screamed.
The woman covered my mouth quickly.
"Sh. Do you want to die?" She asked seriously.
Her hand covered my mouth so the only thing I could say was a muffled 'no'.
~~
After about an hour of walking we apparently reached our destination.
The woman sat me down gently near a tree with a ladder attached to it.
"Stay here Dan, I'll go up to get everyone to help."
He nodded his head and up the ladder she went.
*Emilys pov*
I couldnt yet wrap my head around my sister being gone. I begged the group to go out and search for her, but no one would do it since it was to dangerous.
I curled up into a ball and questioned everyone and everything inside my head.
Blake came over and sat by me as he rubbed my back.
"Whats that?" Blake questioned as the ladder started to sway and creak.
"Probably just zombies." I answered blankly.
Thats when Jessica's head popped up above the floor boards.
"Miss me?" She sang.
I looked down at the floor as tears blurried my vision.
"Woah, what happened here?" Jess asked as she pointed down at me.
"She'll get over it." Austins voice boomed from one of the side rooms.
"Well. I'm gunna need your help." Jess sort of asked.
Blake volenteered, he brought himself back up to his knees and followed Jess outside.
*Blakes pov*
I followed Jess to the ladder.
"Wheres Mason?" I asked her suspiciously as we made our way down the ladder together.
"While on our mission to find the other three group members, he didnt make it." She responded.
I had a feeling something like that would happen. She's already tried to kill Mason, what would be a better way than to do it when no one else is around.
I scoffed out an unpleasant sigh as I looked through her facial expression.
She didnt look guilty. She looked sad, maybe even depressed? Well, if she did kill Mason, shes pretty good at lying.
"Megans over here, hid her and I in some bushes. Didnt know how long you'd be." Dan said as we landed on the ground.
"Dan?" I questioned shocked as I gave him a surprised bro hug.
His eyebrows raised as he hugged me back, "you good?" He asked weirded out.
"You said you had Megan?" I questioned again ignoring his question.
He nodded his head as he pointed towards the bushes where Megan was.
"Holy shit." I coughed under my breath.
"Seriously dude are you okay?" Dan chuckled.
"Cody, he went out looking for you guys and said you all died in a car accident." I informed them.
"Emilys taking it pretty hard." I added.
Dan bawled up his fists as he rolled his eyes.
"I want Cody out of here." Dan sounded angry.
*Dans pov*
Cody just pisses me off. He needed to go months ago. He shouldnt have even been invited to stay here.
But I couldnt focus on that right now, I had to make sure that Megan would make it up the ladder to the tree fort. She was gaining some of her mobility back at this point but she still needed some help.
We reached the top after a long 15 minutes, I picked Megan up and placed her gently onto the couch.
Emilys face lit up like a light bulb when she saw us and ran over to be at Megans side.
"Its time for a certain someone to leave." I stated through gritted teeth as I made my way over towards our room. Knowing he'd take the room since we were out of the picture.
