They, they all didnt make it out?
"What do you mean..." My voice studdered.
He smirked at me viciously,
"your sister dodnt make it out of this one this time."
I felt myself breathing heavier than normal, my heart rate seemed to speed up faster, my hands became all sweaty and clammy.
Oh.my.god.
This wasnt happening. I already thought I lost my sister once, now I've actually lost her?
And I cant do anything about it.
Blake came running up behind me and gave me the biggest hug.
"I'm, ah. I'm so sorry." He tried to get the words out as he tried to support me.
Cody walked back into the side room and I could hear him laugh.
Why the fuck is he laughing for. This isnt funny, he should be mourning the lost of my sister, Dan and Dani.
They have supported this group since the beginning.
How would we survive now? We need runners, we need people who will go out sacraficing their lives for the group.
Weird thing was, I wasnt crying. My eyes seemed to hurt, my throat clogged up but not a single tear was shed.
I was to shocked to even think that she was really gone.
She had to have made it out of the accident. She wouldnt leave this group behind. She wouldnt leave me behind.

I grabbed Megan on one side and Dan grabbed her other side.
We lifted her up into our arms and set off, heading back home.
What will people say when I dont show up with Mason? Will they suspect it was the zombies or will they suspect that I did something to him?
I honestly didnt want to go back to camp because of how paranoid I was about killing Mason. I never thought that I would actually find Megan and Dan, I used that as a scheme to get Mason out here with me so that I could kill him. He had seen my ear collection and theought I was crazy.
And I wasnt having that.
Dani also saw everything, wait. Wheres Dani?
"Uhm, do you two know where Dani is?" I asked suspiciously.
Megan raised an eyebrow at me like 'who the fuck is Dani?' And Dan couldnt remember what happened in the first place.
I mentally face palmed as we got closer and closer to our tree fort.
"Its getting dark." Dan pointed out.
I looked up into the sky and noticed that the sun was soon about to set and we had a little ways to go to make it back to the fort.
"Well, lets camp here then." I suggested as we put Megan down by a tree trunk.
"I have just enough ropes for two people to sleep up in a tree." I pulled out my ropes grom my backpack and began to climb a tree I had picked out. I started up my bed then on the branch next to it made another bed setup.
The night now surrounded us as I climbed back down the tree.
"We have to find someplace for Megan to sleep." Dan suggested.
Hmmmm, I looked around the forest, squinting my eyes to get a better look at everything since it was so dark out.
"What about over there? Inside of the log. We'll cover both ends of the log with rocks so zombies cant get to her."
Since Megans paralized and will be for quite a while I knew we had to keep her in a place where zombies wouldnt see her.
Dan nodded as we got to work.
We slid her inside and covered up both enterences. I made her a little peep hole above her head so she could have some moonlight shine in on her.
I rubbed my hands together getting all the dirt off of me.
"You think she'll be okay in there."
"Of course, she cant move or make any noises what-so-ever. She'll be fiiinnee." I smiled reassuringly.
He huffed out a sigh and we made our way back towards our tree.
------FLASHBACK-----
*Masons pov*
"How the hell are we going to get out of here?" I asked Jess and she looked for a way out.
"Look, up there?" She questioned as my head turned to see what she was pointing out.
It was a small window from the upstairs part of the shed.
"Thats a pretty hugh jump and your legs already messed up." I pointed out.
She sighed while looking at the bullet hole in her leg.
"We have to try, otherwise were zombie lunch."
The zombies at the sheds door started groaning even louder and pushing on the door more than they were.
We have to make a decision soon or Jess'll be right.
"Get to the window. I'll let them in and run up the stairs to meet you. As soon as that door opens though, jump." I insisted.
She nodded her head as she ran up the stairs and got into postition.
I breathed the air in my lungs, then back out. Trying to calm myself down. This could be it? I could die right here right now.
My hand snatched onto the latch of the door suddenly and pulled it opened.
My mouth opened wode, shocked at what my hand just did without me consenting to it yet.
Millions of zombies started coming after me as my feet jetted off in the direction of the ladder.
Tripping on a fee of the stairs I had to kick the ladder down once I was up, to save us some time before they found out about the haystacks that will lead them straight upstairs.
"Jump Jess!" I yelled but she didnt move.
I wanted to just push her out of the window but couldnt. I needed both of us to survive.
She twirled back around suddenly and stood in front of the window, starring straight up into my eyes.
"What are you doing?" I questioned her.
"I'm. I'm." She studdered, I saw a tear shed from her eyes.
"Jess its okay," I smiled as I went in to give her a hug.
"I'm sorry."
My eyebrows raised with confussion as her arms extended out in front of her, she pushed me into the pile of zombies below.
I kmew I shouldnt have came or trusted this girl. I knew that she was bad news from the moment I laid my eyes upon her. I thought as I fell to my death.
Falling onto my back, I whinced out in pain. My breathing became staggered as I felt hands drag along the top of my stomach then teeth scratching along my skin.
I screamed out in pain as each zombie took their turn biting into me. I opened my eyes, looking straight into Jess's, she was smiling? Her evil grin pierced my eyes as she made her way back to the window and escaped.
Without me?
We, we could have made it out. Together?
