Two zombies out of no where started to kick the shit out of George while Andrew tried to kill the zombies in front of him.
George threw me to the ground so that he could fight back. I landed on my ankle and knew I twisted or broke it the second I heard it crack.
I kept quiet though and tried to stand on my own two feet, the pain that rushed up through my leg into my body was brutal. I still tried to 'run' back in the direction towards Dan, Emily amd Jess when a zombie put one of my arms around their neck and reassured me it would be okay.
The voice that pertruded from the zombie mask was soft and sweet. Right away I knew it was Smidgie. I limped back over to where Dan was shot but he was no longer there.
"Where is he!" I yelled out as I feel to my knees dramaticlly.
"Who?" Smidge asked.
"Dan, Andrew shot him... Right here."
Samantha's eyes widened as she kneeled down next to me.
"I'm sorry Megan." She patted my back sothingly, trying to tell me how life goes on.
I started to bawl my eyes out, something I dont do often in front of people. Smidge didnt even know what to do. She just awkwardly rubbed my back and told me it'll be okay.

After the girls left, only four of us remained. I didnt know them well, but being left alone with them I wish I still didnt know them well. Melony was a talker, you could not keep her quiet for the life of her. She went on and on about a bunch of random things. I was polite though and stayed for all of the pep talks.
After that was over, Kyle started following me around like a puppy dog looking for new friends. I didn't mind being friends with him at all. He seemed super cool, but he has to chill with the whole following me around thing.
"So whats your name? How old are you? Are you originally from Massachusetts?" Questions kept pouring in from everyone in the house.
"Uh- Mason. 22 and yes?" I tried my best to keep up and answer all of their questions.
I realized it was getting late, a day has flown by since we have last seen the girls.
"I wonder where they are." Kyle spoke out.
I nodded my head as someone knocked on the underground forts door.
"That must be them." I called out as I headed over towards the door.
As soon as I opened it, millions of little red dots were pointed straight at my heart. Immediately I recognized the little red dots were machine guns.
I raised my hands up in defense.
"Woah woah woah, take it easy." I calmly spoke.
They pushed me aside and ran into the house, grabbing Kyle, Melony, and Amerie.
"You have the right to remai-" One of the members started to say but Melony interupted.
"I have the right to remain silent? I dont think that applies anymore." I agreed, but I'm glad I only agreed inside of my head.
The firering of the guns rang inside my head as a thousand bullets flew through the sky right at Melony.
She then fell limp to the floor with a thud. A pool of blood started to immediately form underneath her.
"You have the right to remain silent, anything you say or do might cost you your life." They looked like a S.W.A.T team that didnt get the memo that zombies had taken over the world.

Andrew took Megan by her hair and yanked her out of the room we were in. I couldnt leave Jess in that room all alone. My body shook with fear as I heard a gunshot fire nearby. My hands began to tremble as I tried to untie her faster. As I untied the last knot we bolted outside and I noticed a body moving on the groud.
I ran over to him and noticed it was Dan.
"That fucker just shot me! Again!" He shouted as he held his knee.
It looked horendous, the way the blood streamed down his leg and how you could see some of the bone in his knee covered in blood.
I have never seen a gunshot wound like that before, Megan got hit in the shoulder and it wasnt as bad as his.
"That must of hurt." Jess stated the obvious.
"Yes. Yes it did."
I gave Dan a hand and pulled him up to his feet and put his arm around and over my neck to help him balance more on the side that was hurt.
We had to find some where safe to protect and care for him.
