Production of Ropepoint has been going on for eleven weeks now and nothing in Stiles' life has been going the way he had planned. He had taken a different route to try and get to the same destination, but instead, he would be going to a completely different place. His problems don't revolve around financial means, but were relationship issues.

At the moment, he was getting ready to hang out with the cast of Ropepoint. They were meeting at their usual Friday spot that they have been going to for the past ten weeks. However the thought still dawned on him, when did everything go downhill? Maybe it started after the first day on set, when he was hanging out with Parrish?

*flashback*

Parrish and Stiles were sitting on the couch watching the hockey game while eating from a bucket of buffalo wings, a paper plate full of microwavable nachos and cheese, and a couple of beers. During each commercial break, Parrish and Stiles went over paperwork for the new television series and discussed other opportunities for his career.

"So, Stiles, since the network that picked up this show ordered thirteen episodes from what Peter has informed me, this means that there will be about fifteen weeks of shooting. I personally think that it would be best if you were on a bit of a break after shooting the first season. It would be fantastic if it gets picked up for another season. Anyway, after those fifteen weeks, you will have some free time, which means that the decision to film, audition, or even take a small break.  It's up to you in the end, but as usual, I'll send you stuff to try to keep you busy. I try to make the best moves for not only your career but also because you're my friend." Parrish rambled and took a breather before he continued to speak. "You will obviously have to do some sort of promotion for the show before its air date, but to fill in your small hiatus of not shooting your publicist and I thought that it might be a good idea to try and get you on that show, Lip Sync Battle. We both agreed that it would be a great experience for you, during your filming hiatus. You've seen it before, right?" Parrish asked, showing him the paperwork.

Stiles placed his palms on his knee caps to lean towards Parrish and responded by saying, "Yeah, I know what you're talking about. It's with LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen. I would be into doing that.  When would I have to shoot that?"

"About three weeks after Ropepoint finishes production of season one. The showrunners of LSB are telling me that it's very chill and you would be filming for a week, so you definitely would be interested?" Parrish enthusiastically asked.

"Yeah, by any chance, do you know who I would be versing?" He inquired.

"No, not yet, but once I confirm with them that you will be on that day they requested, then you should be good to go. You can lip sync, right?"

"Parrish, you know I am a quadruple threat. I can sing, dance, act, and definitely lip sync... well, hopefully," he said listing with his fingers all the things he could do.

"Okay that works then." Stiles was about to scoff down a handful of nachos into his mouth, but Parrish kept on speaking, so he set the corn chips smothered in cheese back down on his plate. "Also, I wanted to bring up that I noticed that you seemed a bit upset at craft services today," Parrish said to change the topic.

"Upset?" Stiles scoffed jokingly, even though he knew exactly what he was talking about.

"Does it have to do with my personal life?" He asked. Parrish was being very direct and wouldn't let Stiles make a detour from their discussion anytime soon so he knew that he would have to give a reply to Parrish's concerns.
