A little over two years later, and Lydia was saying "I do" at the altar.  Like Lydia had put her feelings for Stiles aside he did too.  Stiles had been dating Heather recently. Heather was a blonde actress that had recently been taking the horror world by storm. Stiles knew her before they started dating, and Lydia knew her as well. In fact, Lydia used to be friends with Heather until Lydia told her to back off Stiles over ten years ago.

The three of them had worked together on the same Disney Channel show, which seemed like it happened in another lifetime. At this point of time, Lydia had a crush on Stiles but wanted him to make the first move, a year before Danny and Lydia dated. Lydia shooed Heather away from him because she didn't want to fight for Stiles' heart, afraid that she would lose.

Therefore, Lydia did the unspeakable, something she still isn't proud of. She stooped to a very low-level. Lydia told Stiles that Heather had genital herpes. Like any teenage boy, Stiles ran off scared as if she was the plague along with telling everyone on set about Heather's health condition. Lydia also made up the nickname that tormented Heather to the point where she claims that she left the show. When in reality the children's television network fired her, not wanting to be associated with the STD rumored actress. Present day, the rumors about her case of genital herpes still continue to circle around her name.

That's why it was rather awkward, considering that Stiles and Lydia had parted paths ways only to end up in different beds. The Heather-thing was relatively new as it was only a little over three months old. Whereas, Lydia had turned into a rampaging fire-breathing Bridezilla, trying to perfect every detail of her wedding for the past year and a half.

Stiles was at the bar in a tux, clean shaven and with a freshly trimmed haircut coated in gel. Heather's body draped over Stiles in the midst of a conversation with Malia. Stiles and Malia had become great friends these past few years, staying in touch. They were all at Lydia's and Carver's reception. In fact, everyone from Ropepoint was there except for Jackson, working on directing a play in London. Scott and his new fiancé, Allison swayed to the mellow symphony that the band was playing, exchanging light conversation. Then there was Isaac who was currently hitting on one of the bridesmaids. To try and say this in the nicest possible way, Isaac had become a man-slut ever since he ended things with Malia. He had bounced from one girl to the next before anything had become too serious.

So how did Stiles end up at Lydia's and Carver's wedding, the wedding that he refused to go to? Well, once again an audition brought them together for roles they both received, leading to them to work on yet another project together.   Only this time it was a movie.  Stiles would be playing the well-known character of Spiderman-slash-Peter Parker in the new Spiderman franchise. Whilst Lydia's role was the beautifully fierce, MJ, Peter's love interest.  Lydia fell in love with the script, after hearing that the writers were going to give MJ an edge, making her independent, brilliant, and giving her action scenes, calling for her to use hand-to-hand combat, refacing the image of portraying a love interest to a hero.

Neither one of them knew the other was auditioning, considering that they hadn't spoken in over two years, so it came to a surprise to both of them when they found out. They were both hesitant about joining the project, but their managers convinced them that it was an offer too iconic to pass up, resulting in both actors to accept the roles. Stiles ended up attending because he was cautious about the bad press that would be directed at him if he didn't go. He had to try to convince himself that the only reason he was here was because he was being forced to. When in reality, a part of Stiles was hoping that if Lydia saw him in the middle of the ceremony that she would realize that she was making a mistake. It could have been them.
