Lydia dialed her agent's number as she left the building. She eventually reached the parking meters on the sidewalk by the time her agent answered.

"Hey, mom, you'll never believe it. I didn't get the part that I was originally auditioning for, but I got a different one. I got the part of Danielle," Lydia divulged to her.

"Oh, Sweetie that's great. Doesn't Danielle have a love interest? Do you know who was cast?" Lydia's mother asked as she opened her car door and sat down in the driver's seat.

"Actually, mom, it's my favorite person in the whole wide world. None other than Stiles Stilinski," Lydia sarcastically stated. "That's the only downside to the job, but I really want this role, so I guess I will just have to find some way to manage." Lydia ran her fingers through her hair and sighed before she continued speaking, "I have a feeling that this show is going to be big for me. Meaning that this job is my main priority. My main focus as of right now." Lydia picked up her water bottle from her cup holder and took a sip from it before she started the ignition.

"Then you have to do it, Sweetheart. There is always going to be someone you don't like in the world or someone you can't stand, but you should always do the adult thing, which is acting like you enjoy or can at least tolerate there presence," she advised, giving Lydia her words of motherly wisdom.

"That will probably be the hardest role that I will ever have to portray," she replied.

"Lydia, it's fine just act like a lady. Anyways, I get back from New York, later on, tonight, so we can celebrate then."

"Okay. Bye, mom, I love you."

Lydia sighed, once she noticed that the other line was cut off by her mom, which led to their conversation ending with no goodbye from her mom. Yet again, why should Lydia care at this point, especially since that's the way phone calls with her mother usually ended? Lydia should have at least gotten used to it by now.

Lydia pulled out of her parking space right before she slammed her foot on the brakes, because Stiles Stilinski was standing in front of her car. She rolled down her window and asked, "what the hell do you think you're doing?" Lydia was going to add asshole at the end of her question but refrained from namecalling, since she needed to conceal her hatred for him like a so-called, lady. The last thing Lydia wanted, let alone needed was for the paparazzi to receive a tip from the public that Stiles and she didn't get along.

After the falling out between them a few years back, they usually kept out of one another's acting careers. They detested one another from a distance, undetected by the paparazzi. If the paparazzi were to ever get wind of them fighting, then both of their acting careers would be harmed in the long run, because it was bad publicity. Although he wasn't Lydia's favorite person, she would have to learn to deal and avoid him as much as she could on set.

The fact that their characters were one another's love interests was only going to make this job even harder, but Lydia was trying to keep an open mind about this new opportunity, even if it would be difficult at times. All she knew was that she was determined to be an actress in that show no matter what, and she wasn't going to let Stiles or anyone else tell her otherwise. She refused.

"What I'm doing?" He mocked her tone as he flailed his half bony, yet toned arms in the air. He soon calmed down and moseyed over to her car window and rested his forearms on her car door while observing the interior of her car. "All I am doing is trying to talk to you, but I can't really do that if you run me over," he retorted.

"So what did you want to talk about anyways, because I gotta get back home if I want to miss rush hour?" Lydia nonchalantly asked him as she put on a pair of her designer sunglasses and stared at him.
