⋈ ⋈ ⋈ ⋈ ⋈It had been ten weeks since Stiles and Lydia had competed on Lip Sync Battle, and within those ten weeks, the two of them took it easy, only making a few public appearances. For the most part, it was a time of readjustment and to further progress their relationship. On a side note, Stiles, Scott, and Isaac had moved in together, supporting Scott through his road to recovery. Also, Stiles and Lydia spent their time getting caught off guard by paparazzi anywhere they went, after receiving a tip from their publicists, of course. Meanwhile, the tabloids were eating up Stiles' and Lydia's "will they" or "won't they" relationship. In fact, in some magazines, an entire page was dedicated to their budding romance.
However, today's outing was different than most. Today they were supposed to kiss on their first fake date. Their team had planned for the paparazzi to follow the two for the day, leading to photographs being taken, publicizing their relationship. Once the news broke of their relationship, teens all across the world would begin to spiral out of control. Some people were already onboard with the idea of the two together, making fanart and etcetera. However, others were posting hateful comments on social media about the two as they were getting closer. Typically these were the bitter Stalia shippers since they were still not over the fact that their ship had sunken. In fact, it was in wreckage at the bottom of the ocean.

Stiles had ditched the game controller, replacing his sweats and ketchup-stained shirt with a clean navy t-shirt to match his swim trunks. He picked up his keys and drawstring bag. He found Isaac and Scott in the same place he left them, sitting on the couch playing video games. "I'm going out with Lydia now," Stiles announced. Scott immediately paused the game, turning slowing around to face Stiles since a pain would surge through his back if he turned to quickly.
"What time will you be back at?" Scott asked.
"Might be with her all day," Stiles admitted, before waving goodbye and putting on his sunglasses.

Stiles picked up Lydia and as the two were heading down to the docks. When they arrived, the sun was illuminating its bright yellow rays and the seagulls were squawking up a storm. Even without the ocean view and the half empty boat yard, anyone could distinguish that they were at the docks due to the poignant sea-salt scent that filled their atmosphere.
Then, the slightest breeze flew Lydia's floppy hat off of her mess of curls, causing Stiles to drop the picnic basket that their team prepared and his bag to chase after her hat. She laughed as Stiles tripped over a wooden floorboard raised to high, resulting in him to almost fell into the water. He was eventually successful in retrieving without getting wet as the wind died down. He returned to Lydia, propping her hat back to its rightful place.
When the two boarded the boat, Kiss the Girl, Stiles was clueless on how to operate the transportation system, giving Lydia the wheel. Lydia actually knew how to operate a boat. In fact, her father taught her when she was younger. Lydia lived in California all of her life and before her parents were divorced, her father would take her out on his boat almost every Sunday.
Stiles rubbed Lydia's shoulders as she directed the boat away from the dock and into the vast ocean. Lydia smiled as he massaged her shoulders, but was disappointed when she realized that he only did it because he spotted the paparazzi snapping pictures from afar. Then Stiles kissed her on the cheek, whispering a message into her ear. "I spy with my little eyes two fishing boats with camera equipment ready to set sail," he smirked.
"If they came for a few pictures, then that's what we'll give them," she replied, causing Stiles to chuckle.
