Lydia and Stiles had just returned from a busy weekend. The couple attended Comic-Con for three days with Scott and Allison to promote their new movie, leaving their children in the hands of Isaac and Malia. Isaac and Malia were happily engaged at this point in time. Also, Allison's fallopian tubes finally cooperated with Lydia's eggs and she was now two months pregnant with not one or two, but three babies.

When Stiles and Lydia returned, they attended Claudia's winter dance recital. Their next event was what everyone had been dreading, Stiles' departure.

Lydia followed Stiles to the doorway, stopping at their steps. "I'm gonna miss you, babe," Lydia said, handing him his suitcase.

He set his last suitcase that needed to be put into the car on the step, bringing her closer to him as he continuously rubbed his hands on her arms. "Me too, but I'll facetime you and the girls every night and available hour that I have. Besides, you were the one that pushed me to take this role in the first place." That was true. Nowadays each pushed the other to accept parts, keeping their best interest in mind.

"Yes," Lydia threw her hands dramatically around his neck. "Because I knew you would regret it if you didn't since this role practically screams Oscar winner."

Stiles would be starring in a film titled, Mid-Drift Bills, a film about sex trafficking. Stiles' character, Greg Thorton is a reporter who befriends a son of the owner of a billion-dollar company, Marshall Hall. Hall's father hands his son the company, teaching him the tricks of the trade before taking over. After Thorton casually suggests that he needs a new job, in order to get the inside scoop, Hall offers him one as a data analysis, after discussing their majors in college. As Thorton digs deeper into the company, he plots to expose the crystal-clear image of Hall's company.

The movie was bound to be a success as Brenton Thwaites was Stiles' co-star in the film, already bonding over the fact that they both have daughters. With the amazing directors, brilliant script, and the talented cinematographers the film was bound to win a few awards, so of course, Lydia couldn't let Stiles pass up this opportunity. The only downside was that the movie was being filmed in Winnipeg, Canada.
