First Day On Set

Today was the first day on the set of Lydia's new project, Ropepoint. Lydia recently had a five-week break.  Not having to wake up early made it harder for her to lift herself off of her floral pink sheets.  Thus, her cycle of sleeping in late was broken.

Today everyone needed to be on set by 5:30 in the morning.  Lydia woke up at four this morning and changed into a black and white striped t-shirt mid-thigh length dress and a pair of leather black boots that came up to her kneecap. She applied lots of makeup to cover the bruise, so it wasn't visible. The bruise was almost like a reminder to her that there was still unfinished business between her and her mother.

Anyway, Braeden informed Lydia, that she would be joining her on set for the first day to support her, but Lydia had the impression that she really came to see her ex-boyfriend, Derek Hale. Either way, Braeden would be tangled in her web of things to do on set, but would still be easily accessible if Lydia needed her for anything.

Once Lydia arrived on set, she parked her car in her designated parking space. She exited the vehicle and realized that her parking spot was next to Stiles Stilinski's parking space, causing her to mentally groan. On the bright side, it was close to Stage A-where they would be filming the series.

Lydia entered the building and there were already people carrying props and equipment back and forth. Orders were being thrown from one person to the next.
The atmosphere contained one of Lydia's favorite scents, the poignant smell of freshly brewed coffee. She decided to make her own cup since she had some extra time to spare before leaving her house this morning.

She spotted the snack table within seconds after, so she decided to scoop several different snacks that were on the table into a cup, which included hard pretzels and animal crackers.  As she reached over to grab a spoonful of dark chocolate Raisinettes, a hand grabbed the spoon before she could.

"Here, let me help you with that." The attractive male said, flashing her a grin that showed off his glistening teeth. Lydia gave him a nod as he continued to drizzle the candy into her cup.

"Thank you... I would personalize my thank you, but unfortunately, I don't know your name," she responded. He stopped pouring the candy into her cup, listening to her subtly ask for his name.

"Anytime and my name is Jordan. Jordan Parrish, but people usually call me Parrish," he introduced and shook her hand in one swift motion. Their eyes locked sending a cascade of emotions both ways. Their eyes were doing all the talking his green ones matched with her's almost perfectly, as close as anyone can get to perfect.

"Lydia. Lydia Martin," she smiled.

"No introduction is needed from you. I mean you are the Lydia Martin. I watched not all, but most of your movies. You were pretty badass in that thriller-slash-horror movie with Erica Reyes when you guys teamed up together in Boys Are Not The Only One's Who Cry Wolf," He laughed in a way that gave her the impression that he was mentally scolding himself.

"Well, Parrish I know we just met and all, but would you like to go and get some drinks with me later tonight?" Lydia asked in a flirtatious manner. She was referencing the 'lmh2f/g' method, which stands for 'Lydia Martin's How To Flirt With A Guy' from the April issue of her Teen Vogue article. Step one, lick your lips slyly. Step two, bat your eyelashes at him while continuing to make eye contact. Step three, place your hand on a part of his body, whether it's his arm or even give him a poke on the chest followed by a laugh, just make some sort of body contact. Step four, teasingly bite your lip at him. Step five, don't forget to smile, but don't be creepy, be genuine smile. Then, depending on if he notices or is attracted to you in some sort of way, cross your fingers and you might score a date with this guy.
