Freya

"You can't expect him to just have instant control of himself! We need time to teach him how to control... Well, you know!"

Two girls argue to defend the dark life of the one they both love.

It's so... Romantic! But yet so... dangerous. But I just can't help but find the situation alluring.

For now, I'll at least pretend that I care.

"Freya's right." Marceline said backing me up.

"You don't just gain a chunk of power and instantly know how to use it, much less control it. Esspecially Michael. Everyone here knows how much of an airhead he can be..."

Everyone nodded and I giggled.

It's so true!

"He needs time to learn how to control his power... To better understand who he is now." She paused.

" Think about it." I urged him. "What do you think will happen if you let one of the most powerful creatures alive roam without realizing the chaos it's powers can create?"

The headmaster looked up at the ceiling uncertain. Lizbeth stared at us in disgust.

"Why is it that despite all of his betrayal and lying that you two still support him? Are your pig-headed annoyingly narrowed goals really so mind consuming?"

Marceline was on Lizbeth in a second.

The headmaster just watched in  boredom to see the play of things.

"We have no ulterior motives". Marceline snarled. Lizbeth laughed sarcastically.

"Isn't that the same thing all of the titans or war swore before we discovered they planned to take over everything?"

"We are no longer part of that group Lizbeth!" I called out.

"We are no longer a part of that life".

Marceline thrust Lizbeth away from her, and I couldn't help but give a small smile that despite all this, Lizbeth's ginormous boobs would continue to giggle whenever she moved.

"I care deeply for him." Marceline said voice lowering. Lizbeth's eyes surprisingly softened.

"He killed my brother."

I felt a lump of guilt block my throat as I staid silent.

I have to tell him soon... This secret is going to eat me alive if I don't tell him, literally.

"Will you give us time?" I asked the headmaster seductively. I knew that he probably wouldn't comply, so it was time to turn on the charms. The giant man's eyes remained narrowed and locked to the floor as he sat and thought. I watched his musings until he came back to wherever he had been.

"I'll give you ten months" he said to me and Marceline. She looked at him unsure.

"Six months..." He said gravely. "It should be enough time for him to learn. If he does not, Michael Thornson will unintentionally pose a threat to everyone. In the case that this occurs, and if he hasn't learned, it will, I will have no choice to have him killed. He will be eliminated."

"Freya." Marceline called out to me. I looked at her surprised. We had been walking back from the meeting and I was spacing out.

"Sorry," I told her. "I was just remembering what he said". Marceline nodded as we walked back to the infirmary.

"It's crazy..." Marceline simply stated. "Months ago, you were a broken hoe, and I was a frigid bitch with no heart... Now look at us. Babysitters, or prisoners to the one we love". I looked at the teenager not expecting her to say that at all. Stopping in my tracks, we faced each other.

"I love him for him." I told her. She held her arm in arm and looked away.

"So do I". She replied coldly. I nodded.

"We can fight over who gets to keep him in the end when this is all over. For now, let's try to keep the poor bastard alive". Marceline looked at me with big brown puppy eyes.

"Yes..."

We walked into the school yard before she stopped me.

"What is it?" She took in a deep breath and her eyes flung open.

"He's bleeding." Marceline told me hurried.

She ran into the building holding my wrist. "Let's go!"

Michael

"I'm telling you Freya, I'm fine".

"Fine?" She looked at me and scowled.

"You shouldn't have gotten out of bee.g." Marceline said motioning to Freya. "We we're worried something had happened to you".

"What's going to happen to me?" I said feeling lax. "I feel like a billion bucks".

"You have glass jammed up your foot." Freya remarked smiling. I felt a warm feeling ignite a dark corner inside me. Seeing her smile like that made something in me feel... alive.

Looking away, I couldn't help bush furiously blush as I saw Freya's amused smile.

It's so nice to have Freya's back.

"We have to talk about something." Marceline told me silently after Freya left the room to get some more supplies for the infirmary.

"What about?" I asked the vampire intrigued. I glared at her irresistible mouth as her plump pink lips moved to form words, the retracted points of fangs slightly coming into view every time she mouthed a large word.

Man, I love the way Marceline speaks... Her lips are amazing and she sounds so awesome, I wonder what she's actually saying...

"Did you hear me?" Marceline said nervously. She rested a hand gently on my bandaged chest and looked deep into my eyes scared.

"I think Freya is pregnant".
