"Are you sure that's what happened? " Freya murmured to me under her breath. I had just finished explaining what I saw Red do to Michael, and Freya didn't seem to be pleased at all.
Freya nodded her head and looked straight ahead. I couldn't stop looking at her stomach though, because wherever I looked, I could still hear the small rabbit like pounding heart of a baby succubus inside of her.
"Your lover..." I began unsure. Freya turned and looked at me a bit surprised, and I cut myself off.
I shouldn't ask the nurse such questions! What's wrong with me?
"Okay Freya, he looks pretty calm now. You can sit back next to him if you want." Marceline appeared from behind and Freya gave her a crazed look.
"Are you insane? What if he wakes up acting all crazy again?" Marceline's left eye twitched in annoyance before she began to speak to Freya again, this time in a more threatening tone.
"Freya, move your white ass next to him before I make you move."
There were several things that had surprised me at this point. The fact that Marceline cursed at Freya, and threatened her, it means Marceline's either really, really strong, or maybe she's just amazingly stupid.
As expected, Freya rose to the challenge, and standing up, knocked heads with Marceline.
"I'd like to see you try."
"Um...guys?" Both of their heads turned in my direction and I nervously cleared my throat.
"I think he's... I think Mister Thornson is waking up now."
Marceline snapped her head to look back at Michael. A really tall blonde girl was sitting next to him now, and she had him wrapped in blood chains. I heard him groan twice, and Freya slumped into the seat beside the two while Marceline went to go check him out.
Freya tapped her head against the window as she silently watched the trees pass us by. I watched her for a moment, anticipation of words hanging heavily in the air.
"I really do love him, " Freya murmured.
"I just don't know for how long."
Michael
It's that dream again.
That dream that I haven't had for months.
It's back again.
I've always hated this dream. This scene. I don't know why, but it always pressured my heart. Made me feel like something bad was going to happen.
But nothing ever did.
So why is it that I'm dreaming this dream again?
My previous words echoed down the empty halls of the massive floor. Black decor greeted every closed window and locked door, and a red carpet lead the way from where I stood to a room.
I wandered the dark place, feeling lost. I touched the cold walls and followed what I could make of the red carpet. Before, the red color had made it easy to see where I should go, however, in the darkness it was dim and hard to follow.
It's been so many times that I've gotten the chance to walk into this room. Every time I do, it always looked the same. It still resembles the sky.
The whole entire room was a dark shade of blue with white spots that sparkled so much, that they resembled stars. This time, I focused my eyes, and saw that they were constantly moving, twinkling. They were dancing every fricken second I was there.
