The Vampire's seal lll : Love over immortality

So, for the lovlies out there who want to keep reading but have completely forgotten about what's going on, here's a useful recap!

Our main character Mike tracked down Red -Marceline's psychopathic childhood friend-
After Red kidnapped and disappeared with Marceline.

Mike, Freya, Freya's pure succubus cousin Hailey, Mike's recently appointed advisor Vale, and their teacher Miss Secaw abandon the trip they had planned in the human world in order to go find Marceline.

But!!!! When they finally track her down to an old mansion, Freya finally gives birth to a boy and a girl. Mike freaks out and starts to believe everyone is dead, and takes the newborn kids with him to find and kill Red, believing that their deaths were Red's fault.

Mike finds Red and Marceline, but she attacks him. As they fight, it's discovered that Red also harbored God- like "golden powers" and used it to manipulate Marceline into trying to kill Mike. As a result of this, Mike frees Marceline and fights Red head on, giving into his inner demon to win the fight.

When the fight draws to a close, Red taunts Michael by pointing out that Gods can't really gods. Overhearing this, Marceline goes over to Red, ripping out his heart and eats it.

Marceline is now also a golden god! /(^•^)/~~~

Before Red dies, he decides to be a meanie and reminds Mike of some hardcore information that they had previously exchanged during the fight.

Freya's kids? The twins? They aren't even Mike's!

Marceline gets caught up in the moment and makes a hearty confession after Red's body disintegrates.

But! Only seconds before they kiss for the first time in forever, an angry Freya with the rest of the crew shows up to stop them from going any further.

Mike becomes cold to Freya, remembering how she tricked him into thinking that he was the father of her kids for months, and takes them outside with him for air, despite Vale's suspicions that he plans to do something to the children.

Marceline joins him as he mopes alone out on the front steps of the mansion, and trying to comfort him, and opens up about the true nature of her childhood.

As she talks, she grows angry at herself about something she could have done to save people close to her, and trying to calm her Mike says something that sets Marceline off because it reminded her of her mother.

This time- she willingly attacks Mike, forcibly trying to extract information about her mom from him.

It turns out that Marceline has a vampire disease: because she wasn't fed her mother's blood as a kid, she grew up craving specific vampire blood. (Blood similar to her mothers was always preferable.) And for some peculiar reason- Mike unknowingly had the queen's blood itself when he first came to the academy.

Three werewolf hunters that have been tracking down the vampire queen for years are finally drawn to Mike and begin to open up his memories on Marceline's orders in order to find out why Mike has the blood of Vampire Queen Anastasia running through his veins.

Being forced to relive locked memories, Mike experiences a series of painful flashback; remembering how his vampire grade school teacher saved his short life, lived with him and his dog after his biological parents had passed away for some time, and eventually developed feelings for him as he grew older.

Everyone still inside of the building is drawn to the screaming from the outside, and Vale grows ill as she experiences a share of Mike's pain due to her golden bond with him.

Hailey fights to have Freya try to save Mike. She's reluctant at first, but soon enough, Freya begins her full body monster transformation for the first time in the story in order to fight Marceline to the death- the prize being Mike's love.

As they fight to the death, Mike continues to relive memories sealed away by the Vampire Queen's seal. When the werewolf hunters finally remove it, Mike wakes up basically looking like crap.

Then he sees the two love of his lives fighting each other. Then he starts feeling like crap too.

Unable to watch the fight drag on, instead of using theaat of his god powers to support himself, he exhausted his powers to get in between Freya and Marceline as the each deliver a deadly blow to each other.

Except their blows never made contact with their ideal enemy. Both women had impaled Mike's frail and temporarily 'human' body with their complete arms, and Mike starts dying, satisfies to have saved their lives, but hurt by the cries of agony and confusion that fills his ears.

One of the three werewolf hunters approaches them, and just before Mike passes, the mask is removed and it's discovered that the one werewolf hunter that had been a bystander to it all- the removal of Mike's memories and their fight to the death was none other than the queen herself in disguise.

The next chapter is a continuation of where the story left off thus far, with the introduction of the Vampire Queen.
