"When are you going to let me go?" I snarled. Red was leading me around like a dog, the unique blood chains that were meant for Michael wrapped around my wrist.

Red looked at me with a sadistic smile on his face.

Ew.

"Oh, my sweet..." he began, gently stroking my cheek. "You're the only one that recognized my true identity, yet you never confronted me. Not before, and not after." Red laughed. "You really do must love me!"

I roundhouse kicked Red since I couldn't use my hands to punch him, but he caught my foot in mid air. "You... you bastard!"

"Do you remember when we were children?" He continued on, a far away glint in his eye. "You were so beautiful even back then. Fierce, of course. I remember you almost killed Kelo just because he touched your hair."

"You're just like your brother!" I said angrily. "You were both perverts one point in time!"

Red continued to lead me around a faint path in the forest away from camp.

"I never imagined to see the daughter of the strongest Vampire alive at some flimsy school. Transferring to the very same place my idiot brother had planned to destroy was a great move. I certainly have him to thank for allowing me to see someone I was never supposed to see again."

"What are you really planning?" I asked him, growing tired of his blabbering. "What's your original goal for transferring to our school?"

Red turned around to face me once again. Except this time, his face was stoic.

"The same as my brother's. Power. Except this time, I'm doing things a bit differently."

I opened my eyes wide when I realized what he was referring to. "You wouldn't dare-"

Red's lips crushed against mine. Surprised, I clamped down hard on his lips with my fangs before his tongue could move any further inside my mouth. He moved away bleeding from his mouth, and I tasted his nasty iron blood on my lips. I looked at him with a diabolical glare as I spat his blood out.

How... How dare he!?

"Aw," he complained. "It seems like Michael even beat me to the punch here too. No matter. It won't mean anything after I kill him, right Marcy? It's just another reason as to why he should die."

"You stay away from him." I threatened. He smiled when he saw my resistance, and shushed me by putting his filthy finger against my lips.

"Silence, you're only the bait to catch the big fish which is Michael Thornson."

Hailey

I slowly came to and found my face between Freya's... well, breast.

"Um..." I began shifting uncomfortably. Freya looked at me and I gasped for air. "What... what are you doing?"

"Oh, relax cuz," Freya gently smiled at me. "Don't act all flustered. Did you forget how we used to take baths together?"

"Shut up..." I muttered as I pushed myself away from her. Then I looked around and saw the ruins of the camp. "What happened here?"

I grunted in pain and held my head as I remembered something. I looked at my hand and saw dried blood before I could recall what Red had done to me.

"Red..." I began. Freya's eyes went wide as she shushed me.

"This really isn't the time to be talking about that guy."

"But, Red, he-"

Freya clamped her hand over my mouth and pointed over to Michael's tent. He looked like how he did on the bus; heavily clawed, the back of his hair spiked as it also varied from his brownish color to gold. He was breathing heavily, and I noticed that somewhere along the process, he had lost his shirt.

Or rather, it laid in pieces from being scratched off.

So... he's so hot...

Freya also observed as Mike tried to control himself. The outburst caused him to change, but only halfway. Vale was also there to help him restrict himself, so it seemed as if he was in control of himself.

For now.

When Michael screamed, it was as if his mighty roar shook the very foundation of the earth. When it stopped, I looked at him and saw large curved fangs appear in what I hoped was a smile.

"I can smell you."  His raspy voice stated. Then in a blink of an eye, he was gone.

"Wait up idiot!" Vale said chasing after a blur in the tree tops. Freya looked at Secaw who shrugged.

"Guess that's our cue to follow."

"Can you walk?" Freya asked me. When I nodded, she still helped me up. Secaw signaled for us to follow, and I struggled to keep up with the two women.

Michael? I thought worried.

Red isn't who you think he is. He wants revenge for Kelo's death as his younger brother. He's also crazy strong!

We heard Michael howl from a far distance and Freya stirred.

Just don't get yourself killed please!
