{A/N: Hey guys, sorry I haven't been updating, I spent the week sick as a dog T^T
Well, here you go!}Michael's point of view
Eight years ago"You've failed, again... at this rate, you won't even pass the grade! You're way below average, and you're not showing any signs of development. When are you planning on showing me some improvement Mike?"
When I was eight and in third grade, I had a teacher who's class I always failed. She was a great teacher- don't get me wrong. I was just stupid. And having me as a student a year before, I could tell I was finally beginning to irk the calm beauty.
I avoided looking into the clear eyes of my teacher, and just shrugged while looking down. She sighed clearly upset, but before moving on, whispered in my ear.
"Meet me after class to go over your test."
I looked up at the nape of her neck from my seat as she began to stand up again, and grunted as a response. She moved on, passing test papers to other students, not even looking back once.
"Damn Mike," my pal Andy said, looking at the large score of seven written on my paper in red. "Drew, come over here."
Drew stood up from his seat and came over to my desk. He nearly choked on air when her saw my score.
"Jesus Mike! How did you score so low man? Half of that test was multiple choice! What's your mom going to say when she sees that?"
"She won't." I told them flatly. "You think I have any skin left for her beatings? Woman's a demon! There's no way in hell I'm showing her this." I took the paper and crumbled it up, putting it into my pocket.
"Besides... I'm staying behind with teacher to go over it after class." I whispered to myself.
"What?" Andy asked, putting two fingers behind his ear and leaning in closer from his chair. I blinked and smacked the back of his head.
"I said that I can't wait to beat you up later. You still owe me for the cheats I leant you."
"Whoa now Mike, take it easy, okay bro? Me and Drew still haven't had a chance to use 'em yet. I'll pay you tomorrow once we've made sure they're quality." He smirked, and I looked away.
"You know Mike..." Drew said, looking at my paper. "You're such a smart ass kid. You're making computer hacks and cheats, you're showing up those new kids at the skate park like a pro, and don't pretend that you don't like helping little kids. You're such a goofball around them. You're a genius... So how does this keep happening?"
I looked down at my paper at the big fat seven and sighed.
How does this keep happening?
"Do you have the paper?" My teacher asked me as we began our usual study session after school. I nodded, and pulled the crumpled piece of paper from my pocket and down onto the table.
She looked at it, and took the dirty crumpled paper from the table and threw it into the waste bin.
"What the-"
"Mike." She said, her voice as stern as a teacher's voice could be. I put my head down in shame, and I could hear her make a noise out of frustration. "Come sit here. You're taking the test over again."
"Miss..."
Her eyes shot up to meet mine and I bit my tongue, trying not to make so much as another peep.
"You and me are going to work on this test until you show me that you can get a hundred on it." I looked up at my teacher's brown eyes, and they softened when she saw me comply and take a seat next to her.
