Akutagawa

Dazai and I split ways not long after we left.

"See you on the battlefield Akutagawa." Were his parting words. I walked back to the docks wondering why he even came. Was he the one who wrote the note? It didn't sound like something he'd say.

'You're not the only one with a soft spot for a certain girl.'

I groaned storming toward the warehouse.

"Run for your lives!!" Chuuya was yelling from inside. I burst into the door only for my heart to stop.

She had tackled him, pinned him to the ground.

"Who knew you were such a freaking marshmallow! You're stuck with my ass for life Chew Toy!!" She yelled. Her gaze snapped up to mine and her eyes widened.

The dullness once there, now like blue crystals.

"Ryu! You look like you haven't slept in ages! What did I tell you about your late night escapades!" She lectured sprinting towards me.

"You seem better for the most part." I mused holding her close to me.

She's breathing. She's talking. She's alive.

"And you look like shit." She sneered.

"Look?"

She gave me a wide smile, one I had never seen in my entire life. It lit up the room like a star.

"I can see!" She quealed dancing around. Chuuya pulled himself off the floor rubbing his head in mock hurt.

"I left for ten minutes and when I came back she was like this." He uttered.

Ten minutes.

"Also, this was on the table." Chuuya said handing me another slip of paper.

Akutagawa,
   Think of this as a 'you owe me'. I saved your precious dog, now you're indebted to me. All I will say is that you'll be contacted when needed.
