Chapter 12 - Just two more weeks

*HALEY'S POV*

I grumble, turning over and grasping my pillow, nuzzling my face further into its warmth. But soon, when my said pillow groaned, I was nearly wide awake. My eyes shot open and I released my death-grip.

Dylan looked down at me and yawned.

"Hey" he says in his raspy, deep morning voice that I heard last night when I called him up.

"Hey" he smiles at me and I smile back

"I know I said it last night but thank you for coming here"

"No problem"

"Wait, what time is it?" I jumped up and looked over. The time read 8:30am and if we didn't get up now I knew we would be late.

"We've got school! and if we don't get up now then we're gonna be late" I exclaim, running to my wardrobe to grab some clothes

Dylan groans and grabs the pillow, covering his face and ears.

"Dylan!" I whine

"Haley!" he whines back

"Come on! get up! Please"

"We have 15 minutes! we can make it in time, I won't take long to get ready, give me 5 minutes" he says sleepily and I allow him just 5 more minutes of bliss because I woke him up last night, multiple times

"Fine, but only 5 minutes" he snores

"Now class, your assignment task is coming to an end, you only have two weeks left, make the most of it and don't waste time!" my teacher warns

I don't mind having Dylan as my partner now, In fact, we've become friends and he isn't so bad once you get used to him. There's still something that confuses me about that boy. Why does he have so many personalities? when I first met him, he was rude and annoying and then the second time I saw him, he was flirty and annoying and now, now he's just nice and sometimes annoying. I may have a little crush on him..

*RING RING RING*

"Ok class, I'll see you on Monday, have a good weekend" my teacher says dismissing the class.

I walk to my locker and put my books away, I grab my bag and close my locker door.

"Boo!"

"Jesus Dylan, don't sneak up on me like that" I held my heart that was surely pumping out of my chest.

"Sorry" he smiles sheepishly at me

I sigh "what do you want?"

"We're going somewhere today" he grabs my hand and pulls me towards the front doors of the school

"Where?" I try to keep up

"It's a surprise!"

"I need to tell Maya that I won't be walking home with her"

"I told her"

"But I have homework"

"I'll help you do it later"

"I need to pick up some stuff from the grocery store"

"I'll come with you"

"Fine"

"Yes!"

*****
The car ride to the grocery store was filled with endless chatter, Dylan cracked many of his oh-so-funny jokes that made me clutch my stomach.
