Dear Miles Cade,
Don't come try and come back home. I will not let my problems right now interrupt your overseas trip. Besides, they won't let you leave. You paid all that money and I doubt they'll give you a refund.
I'll be fine, Miles. What I need right now is for you to learn and have a great experience. You can tell me all about how you swam with those fish from that one movie, and found their son. After that you'll tell me that they lost their fish friend and it was up to you to save them. I'm not funny, I know.
I'm done trying to be funny and I'll tell you about my day, to ease your mind. I didn't see Mason, but I did get multiple texts from him telling me that he needs to talk to me and that it's important. I told him that I'll meet him tomorrow, but I said that under one condition that I bring someone. He said anyone except for Bradley. So, I'm taking the person, who's like a second brother to me, our friend Ryker. Normally, I would have taken you as my second choice, but you're not here.
No, that wasn't to make you feel guilty. That was just to let you know that you would've been my initial choice besides my older brother.
I can't promise that nothing will go wrong tomorrow, but I do promise that Ryker will be there and I will be safe. In your last letter you told me that I could tell you anything and I know I can.
Thank you for always caring. I'll write you tomorrow.
Think of me always,
Piper Cheyenne
