Dear Miles Cade,
Piper is asleep on your bed right now. She hasn't stopped crying since the moment she found out. It's not a pretty sight Miles. She still wants a letter everyday, but for an entirely different reason. She wants you to wake up, read these, and make a joke out of it just so she doesn't have to feel any more pain. She has never felt this kind of pain before.
Not with someone that she truly loves besides her family.
Miles I don't know what else to say to you then I dearly hope that you're going to wake up soon, but you and I both know that it won't happen for at least two weeks. Those will be the worst two weeks of her life. No one has the heart to tell her the truth.
You're one of my good friends and I'm grateful that you're in my life and I want you to be okay. The month is almost over, college will be starting soon, and Piper is going to have to do that without you. I can't be there for her because I'm going to a different college along with Ryker.
I can't tell you what will happen after college starts, but if I'm sure of anything, Piper is sure as hell not going to give up on you.
She'll write you tomorrow. She always does.
She'll love you always, which will never change.
