Dear Miles Cade,
Ryker here and when no one was looking, I cried. You've been my best friend since Junior year in high school and let me tell you, this news broke me. I'm writing this to you because Piper couldn't. She had the pencil in her hand, stared at your lifeless face, and she dropped it onto the floor. Her hands went to cover her mouth and closed her eyes shaking her head. It's becoming very obvious that her thoughts on what will happen to you are getting worse.
She knows you're alive, but she's thinking the one thing that none of us want to say because we are all afraid to ask the doctors.
What if you wake up and don't remember anything?
Do you think Piper can handle that? Because I don't know and I wish you could answer me. Miles Garrett Cade, you better wake up and when you wake up, I expect the first thing you do is kissing Piper on the lips and tell her that you love her.
If the worst does happen and you don't remember any of this then I need you to remember this: Piper is someone that fights for what she believes in. She believes in you. She will continue to believe in you for as long as you're in her life. So, if you can't remember anything just know that before being hesitant on whether or not you want her in your life.
She'll write you tomorrow. I'm sure of it.
She'll love you always. No matter what situation.
