Dear Miles Cade,
You are the best, best friend in the entire world! I would like to say this now that you know me very well! You should have seen my face when I stole your sweater from your closet and what falls out?
A piece of paper from the pocket that reads, "You can keep this sweater until the end of summer because I know how much you secretly love it. – Miles" I need to say that I'm wearing it right now and as conceited as this sounds, I think I look better in it than you do. Honestly, I shouldn't have been surprised; I have made it obvious that this sweater is the only thing I like that you own.
I should update you on Mason. Despite the past few days going well, I still get those invisible threats by him. I blocked his number the day after I called him and I off, but he made multiple new numbers. I tried showing these to the cops, but they wouldn't listen to me. After that stunt I pulled with spray paint, they think everything I do or show now is for attention. Don't worry about Mason though, he hasn't tried anything in person, and I think that's what matters most right?
Anyway, it's almost the end of June. You know what that means? Your birthday is coming up in just one week! You'll be eighteen and I'm going to send you the best present you'll ever receive! That's what I was saving the money for... it is going to be your present. I hate that we can't spend your birthday together like we do every year, but it's fine. This trip is for you.
I should mention that there is a party tomorrow night and everyone, except for you because you're too busy being a seaweed brain, and I'm considering going. Riley really wants me to go and be social for once.
That, and she told me that she wants to impress someone and it isn't you! It's so Ryker and once I'm right, you'll me money. I'll write you tomorrow.
I'll be thinking of you always,
Piper Cheyenne
