Chapter 44 - Epilogue:

6 Months Later

Luce’s P.O.V

“Ah I haven’t got my dress on. Nor have I put Luka in his suit yet. Ahh” Mya says as she runs around my bedroom looking rather flustered I couldn't help but laugh. “Mya. Breathe. This is my wedding day. Shouldn't I be the one that’s fudging hyperventilating not you?” I question humorously. Mya just blushes and nods. “Exactly so calm it woman! We have plenty of time” I say, though really I haven’t a fudging clue how long we have. I daren’t look at the clock. Mya nods and grabs little Luka from his moses basket in the corner. Luka was Mya and Damon’s four month old son. And one small bundle of adorableness. Honestly that little child is going to be a heartbreaker when he’s older. He’s just so fudging cute! I watch as Mya grabs Luka’s changing bag and his little suit and she looks at me. “I’m just going to run Luka to Damon so he can change him. I will be back as soon as possible.” She says like she’s just running downstairs. When actually she was running all the way to the pack house I used to live in. Before I moved in with the vamp fox coven that is. “Ok it’s fine. I shall go visit magical lands also known as the shower, in your absence” I say and Mya just laughs and nods her head, before taking off out the door with little Luka in hand.

With Mya gone I finally decide I should probably get my ass into gear and start getting ready instead of laying here on the bed, devouring tasty chocolates. The only problem was, every time I walked away from the chocolates they started to cry and call me back to them and well I had to keep giving in. It was a repetitive cycle. One I couldn't seem to be free off. But I knew this time I had to be strong. Well I did if I wanted to be at the wedding in time. Which considering it’s my fudging wedding, it might be wise that I get there on time. But you know. I still can’t believe I’m actually getting married. Honestly the thought scares the begebies out of me. Not that I would admit that to my husband to be, the yummy Caleb. Though he can probably tell if he used the mate bond to pick up on my emotions. I sigh as I think of my mate and I realise just how much I miss him. And we've only been apart one night. But then again, it hurt too much to be away from him for more than an hour. So a whole night was like pure torture. Deciding I really did need to stop dwelling on my lack of seeing my mate and actually get myself motivated, I dragged myself to the bathroom. Ignoring the silent cries of the chocolates as I left them. Because I’m brave like that.

After spending god knows how long in the shower I finally felt relaxed for the first time in the past 24 hours. But then again, the shower was magical like that. It took all my worries away. It was amazing! Not that I loved my shower or anything. Not even slightly. Shh. After drying myself off, I pulled on some fresh underwear and walked to look in the mirror. I watched as my red curled hair fell in loose damp waves down my back. I checked my face in the mirror to nearly give myself a heart attack. My usually golden eyes were golden and silver. It looked rather strange. They were still gold but they had silver round the edges threading into the gold. I felt magical. I knew why they’d changed. My mother, or should I say the Moon Goddess told me during the judgement day that I would be going through my transition to more vampire soon and well vampires had silver eyes. As shown with the fact that all my boys in my little family had silver eyes. Because well they were all vamp foxes but there vampire side was more prominent. I just had to assume the reason my eyes kept their golden side too was because I still got to keep my wolf as normal. I looked through the mirror once more to notice my fangs had dropped and now fell over my mouth, which only meant one thing. I was hungry. Again. I sighed. I’d been needing to feed a hell of a lot more than usual. Which I will tell you is really suckish, because I’m having to fill up on blood, which means there is less room for yummy things like cake. And well that is just a disaster! I sighed once more and rummaged through my duffel bag to find the bags of Caleb’s blood I had packed with me as he wasn't here to let me feed from him. I bit into the bag hungrily and devoured the lot in less than a minute. I threw empty bag in the bin and licked my lips clean. I watched through the mirror as my eyes sparkled momentarily before they went back to how they are now.
