Chapter 43:

Mya’s P.O.V

“You want what!” I exclaimed as I looked at Luce, who looked way to excited to say she was about to pass judgement to the guy that had her kidnapped and tried to rape her. “I want Molly” she says simply and I can tell from the look on her face that she’s deadly serious. “But why do you want Molly?” I ask not quite understanding. “Because it takes two to tango. And why should she be let off when she is nearly as bad as he is” Luce says simply like it all makes sense. But I guess in a way it does. Molly did undergo sexual activities with Jax knowing they both had mates somewhere and I think actually at some point Jax told Molly that Luce was his mate. Which meant Molly had been aware of his mate and had still continued to carry out her relationship with Jax. Rather than ending things like she should have. But I guess that’s sluts for you. Don’t care about anything but getting laid. Pathetic. “Hello earth to Mya!” Luce says waving a hand in my face. I just bat it away. “Don’t give me that look, it was you that was all zoney” Luce says simply when I scowl at her. “Fine. You have a point.” I say and Luce grins. “Does that mean I’m allowed to punish Molly too?” she asks while bouncing up and down like a child in a sweet shop. I nod and she squeals and hugs me before skipping off happily.

“Do I even want to know what all that was about?” Damon asks as he walks into the room and pulls me into his arms. “It’s probably best you don’t ask. But I am going to have to tell you anyway.” I say sighing. He was the Alpha so he had a right to know that one of the pack members was going to be in on Luce’s judgement. “Oh this doesn't sound good” He says looking a little worried. “Well that depends how you look at it I guess” I mutter and he looks at me, his grey eyes locking with mine. I hold his gaze and don’t say anything else. Wanting to get lost in this moment instead. “Mya. What is it you have to tell me” Damon says cutting off my gazing moment. I sigh and run a hand through my hair swiftly. “Luce has asked to have Molly involved in this judgement day. She thinks that Molly is nearly as much to blame as Jax. I have allowed it because she has a point” I say and then I wait for him to shout at me. Because I’m almost sure that’s what he’s going to do. Afterall I’m the Luna of this pack and I've basically signed one of my pack members up for the slaughter house. At the hands of a non pack member. Seeing as though Luce is no longer a pack member. So technically she shouldn't even be the one handing out the punishment. But we had to make an exception given the circumstance and well just the fact that it was Luce and we all loved her to bits. “Oh well I guess I can see your point there. I wish you would have informed me before you made the decision though” Damon says softly and I peer at him through the hair I’d hidden behind when I was sure I would have to face his angry wrath. “Your…your not angry?” I question and Damon shakes his head. “Why would I be angry?” he questions and I shrug. He smiles and kisses me softly. I kiss him back, hating that the kiss ends too soon for my liking. “You know I've never seen someone as excited to dish out punishment as Luce is” Damon says after a few moments and I can’t help but chuckle. “Yes but this is Luce we are talking about. She has never been normal” I say. “Hey I heard that guys!” Luce’s voice floats through the doorway. I can’t help but laugh. “She’s everywhere that one!” Damon says and I chuckle as Luce says “It’s because I’m a ninja” which only serves to make me laugh harder and for Damon to shake his head. Though a smirk does form on his face. “Come on we best head downstairs” I say, tugging Damon towards the door. “Do we have to?” He moans and I chuckle. “Yes. We are the Alpha and Luna. Therefore this is all our responsibility.” I say feeling like an old woman when I say it. “Well responsibility sucks” Damon says sulkily and I can’t help but laugh at him. “That it does. But it doesn't change the situation. Now stop sulking and come on” I say dragging him to the door.
