Meeting His Family (Corey Imagine)

Christmas songs were playing through out the car, you and Corey had just gotten off the plane from Los Angeles. Corey invited you to come to North Carolina for the holidays, you were very nervous because although you had already met his parents, it was the first time you'd be a guest in their house.
"So how long have you and Corey been together?" Kyle asked. He picked up you and Corey from the airport.
"Almost a year." Corey answered. You were too nervous to say anything.
"Don't be so nervous babe, my parents are really excited to see you." Corey said his thumb tracing patterns on your hand to try and calm you down.
"We're here." Kyle stopped the car turning around to look at the two of you.
The butterflies kicked into your stomach, you felt like you were going to throw up at any second.
"Don't be nervous Y/N. Everyone loves you." Kyle said. "Now let's get out of the car." Even Corey's brother was trying to reassure you that everything would be fine.
You rang the doorbell after getting the luggage out of the car.
You looked around the property, it seemed like a great place to grow up.
"Cute isn't?" Corey asked.
"Definitely, I have never really been around the farm type of atmosphere growing up in LA. It's nice." You smiled and suddenly Corey's mom Jody appeared at the door.
"Kyle, why did you ring the doorbell? Don't you have a key?" His mother asked.
"Kind of forgot the key." He scratched the back of his head chuckling.
"More importantly, my baby is home. Come in!" She attacked Corey into a hug as you laughed because he's clearly a Moma's boy.
"Oh, Y/N what a nice surprise!" Jody gave you a bone crushing hug literally squeezing the life out of you.
"Surprise? Corey told me that you knew I was coming." You said looking at him.
"Surprise!" He said shrugging his shoulders.
"If there's no room for me, I can just go back home to LA. I don't mind." You suggested. What if they didn't have enough food for you? Or what if they were only expecting Corey and don't want you there?
"Sweetie, don't be silly. We're delighted to have you in our home. Please make yourself comfortable." She gestured toward the couch.
"Jeff? Where are you! Corey is home." Jody walked off leaving Corey, Kyle, Kyle's wife, Justin and you alone on the couch.
"Hi, I'm Julie. Kyle's wife." She gave you a hug. At least there was another girl in the house who you could possibly talk to.
"We were just about to make dinner. Y/N would you like to help? I'm sure you don't want to hang with the guys." Julie laughed. The three brothers already started playing video games.
"I'd love to help. It's the least I could do."
Once you were in the kitchen Jody asked you a question. "How long have you and Corey been together? You two make a great couple."
"11 months." You say with a big smile.
"I'm so glad to see my son happy. His last girlfriend was not the greatest person in the world. It was really hard for me to see him depressed last year."
"He makes me very happy. Probably the happiest I've been in awhile."
It was true, before him you were somewhat depressed with your last relationship and family problems. Meeting him made your life brighten again.
