"What the hell are you wearing Sam? We're meeting an estate agent, you don't need to look like you're meeting the president of the United States." Ajax commented on my attire.

"Ajax." I breathed," I'm excited, okay? I want to look nice and see if they can get me discounts."

"I told you, I'll fund your little pack until it grows and can stand on its own feet."

"Thanks, I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate it."

"Don't. We're friends. Friends are there for each other."

I bounced on the balls of my feet, energy coursing through me nonstop.

"Alpha Ajax, Alpha Sam." A man walked over and greeted us.

"Let's get started!" I grinned after shaking the man's hand.

"Are there any properties you're specifically interested in purchasing?" The agent asked.

"He's actually interested in the property next to mine." Ajax answered.

The agent raised his brow at Ajax and I before nodding. I started to laugh. He thought Ajax and I were a couple!

We followed the agent who got into his truck. We snagged a car off Ajax's property and continued after the man.

When we got to the land, we parked the cars and got out.

"This has about 400 acres, next to your 5,000 acres, Ajax, it looks like an ant. But I'm sure you could expand if you found the need." The agent started talking.

My eyes wandered over the trees in awe.

"This is perfect." I mumbled.

"I'm glad you like it." The man stated.

"How much is it?"

"Five and a half million." His face winced.

"Million?" Ajax gasped.

"Yeah."

"Alright, I've got some cash here." Ajax walked to the car, opening the trunk to expose a case full of money.

"There's about six million in cash here, we want the property."

"That's a lot of money, Ajax." I tell him and he just shrugs.

"I won't even notice it missing."

"I will!" I punched his shoulder and he looked down at me.

"I hate to pry but, are you two together?" The agent interrupted.

"No." We said together.

The man raised a brow.

"Okay."

"I'll need the owner and the buyer to sign the documents."

We ended up back at the agency to fill out paperwork.

"The property won't be ready until about a month. We only need to file the paperwork and talk with other people. Etcetera."
