ALEXIS’S P.O.V.
I knew we would have to make some arrangements for Sasha to live with us, but I decided not to let her presence change things too much. As Derek had chosen to ignore her most of the time, that shouldn’t be so difficult.
I took a deep breath when she left to get her stuff, thinking about what I’d gotten myself into, and immediately felt a warm arm around my shoulders. “You’re brave sis, I’ll give you that much.” I smiled, staring at the Was mark on my palm. “Seriously. This Sasha girl scares the hell out of me. I wouldn’t have had the nerve to talk to her.”
I chuckled. “I’m glad I’m not the only one she scares the hell out of. And it’s not like she left me much of a choice. I mean… Tony’s really close. I couldn’t let her near him. More so because I think she knows he’s my mate.”
It was his turn to laugh. “You know what? All this lovesick think you and this mate of yours have going on makes me wonder where on Earth MY mate is. I should find it ridiculous, but actually I can’t wait to have something like that.”
I smiled, turning to look into his eyes. “Something tells me you won’t have to wait much longer. You do deserve a mate, I guess. One that’ll have you wrapped around her little finger and train Big Bad Wolf here” I poked his chest “to be her puppy.” I smirked, and he growled at me.
Before he could answer properly, though, my phone rang. Tony. I grinned. Just what I needed at that moment. I picked it up staring at my Beta. “Hey Tony! Missing me already?” Derek rolled his eyes, and then shrugged. *See, that’s what I’m talking about.*
I ignored him, preferring to pay attention to my mate’s answer. “Whenever you’re not around, Ally.” I threw myself back on the empty couch, loving the feelings that little statement gave me, and ignored Derek’s laughter. *Douche* “So… I was thinking that you still owe me for stalking me, and I thought of a way you can pay that debt.”
I giggled. The way that guy turned the tough Luna Alexis into a giggling girly girl really was something. Something that should be illegal. “Oh yeah? And what is it?”
Derek was still laughing, so I threw a pillow at him, which he obviously caught. Damned wolf reflexes. “Go out with me again tonight. Though… I don’t think that’d pay the WHOLE debt. You did scare me, so…”
I giggled again. Gosh, I needed to find a way to stop that. “Okay. Will we go THERE again?” I stressed the word on purpose, both to pick Derek’s curiosity and to let Anthony know I had company.
“If that’s what you want. I hadn’t really planned anything. Hey, that Derek dude’s there with you, isn’t he?” Don’t judge, I just loved it when he got jealous.
Derek furrowed his brow at me. I understood his wordless question, but ignored him, AGAIN. “Yup.”
Tony growled, and I smiled as surprise spread over Derek’s face. “Tell him to stay away from MY girl, then.” I loved the way he called me his, but I didn’t focus on that. The look on Derek’s face wasn’t of surprise anymore. It was of pure disbelief. I smirked.
“Okay.” I raised my voice. “Hey Derek! Tony told you to stay away from his girl. Which is me, so… Hands off!”
That made Derek positively roll around with laughter. Even I was laughing. Tony wasn’t, though. Then again, he wasn’t mean to. I could almost see the colour leaving his face. “I was joking Alex! Now he’ll want to kill me! How many times is that guy bigger than me?! Ugh!” I laughed harder. “Wait. He was touching you?!” he growled again.
At that point, I had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. I mean, he was terrified of Derek, but still wanted to get into a fight with him over me. I have no idea how I managed to keep my voice even for long enough to answer. “Enough times to beat the living shit out of you. But I don’t think that’s in his mind right now. He’s too busy laughing his head off on my living room floor. And no, he wasn’t touching me. I just said it to make you jealous again.”
