ALEXIS’S P.O.V.

I heard a knock on my door and frowned as I looked up at it. No one in that house EVER knocked. Even if the reason for that was that usually I was upstairs and wouldn’t hear it. “Come on in.”

Tony opened the door smiling at me, and I understood the knock. He stared at my position – sitting by the piano – for a second before joining me on the stool. “So you do play it?”

I smiled at him. Of course everybody thought it was just another piece of decoration. i wasn’t exactly the stereotypical pianist. “I wasn’t playing, but yeah, I do.”

He raised his eyebrows at me. “I would never tell you played the piano. Maybe the guitar or something like that, but…” He trailed off. “Can I hear you play?”

I rolled my eyes at him. “You should know by now that, to you, I can say no as much as I can lie. I just don’t know WHAT to play for you.”

He pushed a loose strand of my hair behind my ear and kissed my cheek. “Just play anything, Ally.”

I thought for a moment. I knew a lot of songs by heart, but I didn’t think he’d like any of them. I sighed, making my decision. “The best I can get you is Avril Lavigne, at least by heart. Sorry.”

He just shook his head, smiling, and I placed my hands on the keys, letting the feeling calm me like it always did. I had missed this. I took a deep breath, prolonging the moment before I started to play. I heard him gasp when I joined my voice to the melody and smiled, not stopping. That was one of my favourite songs ever. (A/N: Yep, it's the song on the side :P)

Waking up to see that everything is okay
