*flashback*

"Kate come here!" My grandmother yells. "I'm coming!" Kate rushes down the stairs and almost falls on the last one. I follow her into the kitchen, granny made chocolate cake and she putted it on a big white plate with strawberries and raspberries around it. The way Kate likes it the most. I hide myself behind the kitchen door and listen carefully. "You know Liam and Niall get 8 next week huh?" She whispers. "I need you to help me, I want to throw the perfect birthday party for them. Can you ask all their friends to come next saturday?" Kate nods and smiles.
"Yea, we can invite Emily, Harry, Lucas, Edward and Dan. Oh and Louis wants to come too." Kate is so excited. "Shht, it has to be a surprise." Grandma whispers back.
Kate puts her hands for her mouth and giggles.

*Liam's POV*

Grandma putted the white cups on the table. She's filling the cups with hot water and puts a wooden box on the table. In the box are all the sort of teas you could ever imagine.
Bella really has all the flavors you could wish for. Kate takes the blueberry just like she did in the past. My grandma sees it but thank goodness she doesn't point it out. Kate is on the edge of bursting into tears and my grandma isn't really helping. I know she's only trying to be nice and she didn't see Kate since we were fourteen years old but she's hurting Kate more than she knows and wants. "Kate I need to talk to you later." The old lady says. Kate looks terrified but nods. That can't be good. "What day are we today?" Grandmother asks.
"The 25th of march 2013."

Niall and Celine and my sister put the cups into the sink. My grandmother took Kate upstairs with her. Kate has to be so nervous. I hope she can be strong and just pretend like she knows that old lady since she was a little child even though I know it's hard because that old lady is a complete stranger for her. Kate is a good liar, to her parents and other people at least, to me she can't lie. I read it in her eyes.

*Kate's POV*

"I have something for you." The grey haired lady shuffles in front of me to what I assume is her bedroom. The sound of the cracking door breaks through the too short lasting awkward silence.
"Actually it was already yours but you left it here." The soft voice continuous. What could that possible be? Maybe clothes or a toothbrush. "I hope you aren't mad I didn't return it earlier but I didn't see you for years." On her night table is a picture. I take it in my hands. On the picture is a small family. I recognize little Niall and Liam when they were like nine years old. The oldest has to be Bella. She isn't as old in the picture as she is now but the house these people are standing in the front of really didn't change with time. Now I see Astrid and Mary standing next to the blond young girl I recognize as me. My blond waved hair is the same as on the pictures I saw on my birthday. In that incredible video Liam made. Between Anne and Bella is a man with brown short hair, he reminds me a lot of Liam. Oh my god. Before I realize it the glass chatters on the cold floor. "I'm so sorry. I'll buy you a new one." I'm stuttering while hooking down the push the glass on a little pile with my naked hands.

"It's okay." The old lady says. "Wait, I don't want you to cut yourself."
I look at my fingers and see the red liquid flowing down my hand. "Too late I think." I don't know why but my instinct tells me to put my finger into my mouth and I listen. The salt taste of blood is another thing I can't remember since the 23th of June two years ago. "Here is a tissue, are you alright." I hold the white tissue against my cut, the bleeding is slowing dow. Bella removes all the glass of the floor.

"Here it is." Bella says and walks to her bookshelf. She takes a brown book out of it. "This is your personal diary, I knew Liam and you had one together but this is only written by you. You remember it? I didn't see you since he left in December" I keep staring at the book, Bella gets nervous when I don't answer her.
"I didn't read a single word I swear."

I keep quiet and take the book from her and stare at the cover for a while. When I look up to ask her when she found it she's gone. I didn't even heard Bella leaving the room.

I decide to read it from the beginning till the end, till Liam left. I open the first page, my name is written in
beautiful golden letters. I turn the page to find a date. The 14th of April 2009. I was 13 years old when I wrote this. And it's two years before my accident. Only one year before Liam would leave me.

People confuse justice with revenge. But there's no revenge in justice or justice in revenge. Maybe we have to stop fearing the unfair world and trying to become justice when it's too late. But forgive each other more often without taking revenge. Some people think they can fight against time, that they can fight against the system called life. You can't beat what has the absolute power. Some people try to fight against life but fail. You have to live your life like it comes. You can't decide what happens but you can make the best of it. What comes, welcome it. What goes, let it go. When the two pieces don't perfectly match the puzzle can't be finished. God will try to put you together with other pieces. And if god sees you really can't live without, when you actually deserve what he has taken from you, he will give it back to you. But only when what is gone can't live without you either, when nobody is getting better of the separation. Than he will find a way to bring those two pieces back together in the puzzle of life because he can't finish his puzzle when he doesn't put the perfect matching pieces back together.
After some time, every piece will find his match. His true love.

This reminds me of Liam and I a lot. In so many ways. We were separated but found each other back. Because we both couIdn't live without the other and we perfectly match. I didn't even know Liam was leaving when I wrote this. I hope this diary can help me remembering the past. All my thought and feelings are in here.
