*Liam's POV*

My grandmother appears in the living room but Kate isn't following her. I get up from the couch. "Calm down Liam I think she wants to be alone now." I know Kate well enough to know she doesn't want to be alone. She wants to talk. I ignore my grandmother and head to the hallway. "Liam wait!" Celine yells and runs towards me. "Maybe I should go? As her friend." Maybe she's right. She's a girl and her best friend.
I sigh, "Okay, maybe you're right." Celine nods and walks up the stairs taking two steps at a time.

*Celine's POV*

Where can she be? I've never been here in this part of the house. "Kate?" I decide to open one of the four doors in the small hallway. The bathroom, that's gives us only three doors. One of them is a closet so I open one of the two last doors.
Of course I choose the wrong one, this is a small bedroom with a bed for a child. There are some toys on the dresser and a red carpet on the floor. This has to be the right door. I knock and I hear a soft moan. When I open the door I see Kate is hiding something under the blanket of the bed she's sitting on.

"Are you alright?" I ask and walk to her. "Yea I'm fine." She says and puts a string of her hair behind her ear. "Can I sit down?" I ask and Kate nods. "Do you want to talk about it?"
Kate sighs and starts talking. "I want to but I can't." I'm confused.
"You can tell me, I'm your best friend right?" I ask her and she nods.
"It's not that... It's something Liam and I know, nobody else."
"If you want I can get Liam?" Kate quickly shakes her head.
"I'll tell you but you have to promise you don't tell anybody, especially not Niall or Astrid. Liam and Zayn are the only two who know." I nod. I can keep a secret. "You know I had a car accident right? And Liam and I found out that is dad died after he hit me with his car. He's the reason of my accident but I'm the reason of his dead." Tears fill her eyes. "Oh my god Kate I'm so sorry." She wipes her tears and continuous. "Now his grandmother missed me so much but I can't even remember her and she doesn't know I had an accident and even worse she doesn't know I killed her son." Kate bursts into tears. I put my hand on her back and start striking. "And now she gives me my diary I forgot here before Liam left and before my life got ruined." She takes the diary she was hiding and shows me. "I started reading and it feels like I already knew something terrible would happen and I knew Liam and I would be apart for a long time."

"You can cry honey, if you ever need anything or if I can ever help you you can call me. I'm always there if you want a talk or a hug." I mean it. I'm happy I didn't let Liam come upstairs. But this is a big shock, she is the reason of Niall's dad dead. And he's the reason of her accident. I can't and don't want to decide what's worse. "We can't tell Niall, he can't find this out." I say and Kate nods. "What about As?" Kate asks.
"I think it's better when we keep it quiet." I say. Hoping I'm right.

"What if they find out?"
I don't really know the answer.
"They won't" I hope that I'm telling the truth. Kate nods and I pull her against me for another hug.
"Are you ready to go downstairs?" I ask my friend. I don't want to be in her shoes now. But I want to help her in any way I can.

*Liam's POV*

Kate walks in the room behind Celine. She cried, I can tell. I pull her onto my chest and kiss her hair.
"We better go home." Niall states and we all nod except for granny.
"No, you can't go! I didn't see my three grandchildren in months only Astrid came to visit ones. And Celine and Kate, it's been too long."
"We can come back in a week or two." I say. "When we're all feeling better." Celine ads. The grey haired lady looks around the room.
"Okay, if all of you want to leave..."
"It's not the right time, we'll come back." Astrid assures her and everybody nods. We all give her a kiss on the cheek and leave the green room. It seems like she isn't taking us to the station.
