*Liam's POV*

Kate's phone rings on my night table. I roll to my back to grab the phone and stop the annoying sound. Kate moans and takes the phone out of my hand.

"Yea Kate." She grumbles.
"Katie? Can you come over today?"
"Is mum home?"
"Yes but she wants to see you, and me too. You didn't visit in a while."
"I know, is she still mad?"
"Less I think, she wants you to come home Kate."
"I'll talk to her."
"Good."
"What's wrong? You're not saying much." If Kate only knew what's wrong. She will be devastated. It's a wonder her mother didn't tell her yet.
"Nothing to worry about I'll tell you later when you come home."
"Tell me now."
"No Kate I'm not."
"..."
"I love you Kate."
"..."
"Kate? Are you still there?"
"Yes."
"Okay."
"I love you too Lou. I'm happy I have you back home."
"I'm happy I'm here too." He lies.
"Why don't you and Emma come and live here."
"Her parents live back home, well my home."
"Your family lives here."
"Kate I'm not discussing this now with you."
"You're never discussing something with me, with us. Not even when you quit school."
"Kate stop here, I'll see you later, I love you okay."
"Fine."

She throws her phone to the end of the bed. "Do you want me to go with you?" I ask. I know her mother wants her back home but I don't want her to leave me. I want her next to me every night, I want to wake up next to her every morning. And most of all, I always want to be there, I never want her to be alone because of Sophia. I'm scared she will find Kate's house and she will stalk her.
She will make her scared and just like Lola she will...
"Earth to Liam!" Kate waves her hand for my eyes. When I wake up from my daydream she giggles, the most wonderful sound that's for sure.

"What were you dreaming about." She smiles. "The same as usually." I say while putting a string of her hair behind her ear.
"What is?" She smiles again and bites her lip. Damn.
"How much you mean to me. Kate I don't want you to go back home."
"Me either but I can't just keep living here at your house."
"You don't bother anyone here, everyone loves you in this house, by the way Celine almost lives here as well." I say. She sighs and lays her head on my chest.

"I'll just listen to her and see what's going to happen." I nod, although I know she can't see me. "I want to be with you as much as possible, like we do now." I say, staring at the ceiling.
"Me too." She whispers and kisses my stomach. "Then stay with me."
"It's not that easy Liam, I'm seventeen I'm not supposed to live with my boyfriend yet. And on top of that my mother just gave birth of twins, she needs me."
"I know but we can help her, you can visit her whenever you want."
"Liam that's insane you know that by yourself."
"No it's not just stay with me."
"Liam I can't."
"Yes you can."
"No I can't."
"We can negotiate."
"But I don't want to."

What?

"No I mean I want to but.."
"If you don't want to you can say."

We're both standing now, like this is a serious fight. It isn't right?
"Maybe you should go to your mother." I say. Without any emotion.
"Yea I'm just doing that," she softly says. My throat feels like someone is killing me, I can't breath anymore. The feeling you get when tears come up from deep down your body.

My worst nightmare is coming true and I need to stop it now.

Kate walks through the door with her bag and closes the door behind her.
I get as quickly changed as possible, I didn't close my trousers and my shirt is in my boxers but I don't care.
I hear the closing of the front door and I slide into my converse.
I've never ran down these stairs this fast before.

I try to close my trousers while stumbling to the front door.
When I'm finally on the sidewalk she's already out of sight. I run to the corner of the street but she's nowhere to be found. Completely gone. Maybe she doesn't want to be found.
