→ "put that thing back, and get you some lube"

The bus doesn't roll out until 7:45, and I have at least two hours. Two hours until I am back home, under my parents roof. I just can't believe that I'm going back this early.

I had my suitcase, and two duffles on me. As I rolled around trying to find the bus station, I remembered something. It was when I was younger, with my father. We came to New York to sight see. But there was also something else we came for.

When I was little I didn't really know what else we were here for. We were here to visit my grand mother. Well, estranged grandmother. When we visited I thought she was just a fortune teller. But they talked for at least an hour.

I had to put off thinking about that, so I could make my way to the station. As I got there with a total of seventy six minutes left. And the manager said she would watch myself, as I said goodbye to my city.

I was coming back, why couldn't anyone see that?

I decided to take her advice, and walk around. I had my phone, so if I got lost, which wasn't going to happen, I could get back. I also had my wallet on me, which wasn't such a good idea. Everything seemed cute enough to take with me back home.

I was in this candy store picking up some stuff for Kurt. The kid was probably on a sugar high right now, but who cares. I finished picking out red and blue candies, and that huge lollipop that's oh so colorful. And I was at the register, when the cashier looked at me wildly.

I wasn't going to say anything, that would be rude. But also, him looking at me like he is, was also rude. Until he told me the reason why,

"You are like really familiar." He says to me, packing up the candy in a small bag.

"Um, do you go to NYU?" If he knew me, he had to know me from there.

"My sister does, and I might too. I think that was- the campus invite." He snaps his finger, and smiles at me.

NYU had this campus mixer thing, and I was there for a little while. But I didn't stay, Nissi need my help moving in some furniture at the apartment. I smiled and introduced myself to at most seven people.

Maybe he was one of them, "Oh, I just vaguely remember that day."

"Well, I'm Eli. And you my dear are my hero." He chuckles to himself, and starts punching in numbers on the register.

"Hero? Why?" I handed him a $20, and he took it from my hand.

"You broke Alpha's keg record. It was 5.6 seconds, and you got like 6.8!" He handed me my change, it was thirteen dollars. Two fives, and three singles.

"Oh that, I haven't done that before. I've gotta get going, see you around." I placed one five in the 'tips' jar and grabbed my bag.

I wasn't one to just grab a keg and start drinking, but then again it was a different environment. I'm different, even though I've been here for like less than three months. I can't believe I made an impression on people I don't even know.

And boom, like lightening it caught my eye.

"SUPER STORE"

Wow, that sign was bright. And it was only, 6:12. That's like the middle of the day. I stepped in the store, and it was like target, but on drugs. There was kid stuff right next to the kitchenware, and women's apparel next to the bathrooms.

It was crazy!

I walked through the aisles, and stumbles upon something I shouldn't have. It was in the hair section, and I was entranced. I picked it up, and eyed it. It was softer than the others, and it didn't have a wire.

My mind was doing backflips, until I got it. I almost dropped it, but I caught it with my other hand. I placed it back on the shelf I had found it from, and walked out of that store so fast. I knew what it was, but it looks like a curler!

I can't believe someone actually placed it there!

It was getting late, and the time read 7:29. I had to get back to the station before the bus rolled out without me. I didn't run to the bus station, per say. But when I looked at the time, and it strikes 7:39 I jogged a little.

I made it on time, and grabbed my bags from the manager. The bus wasn't going to come exactly at 7:45, but I didn't want to be late. I sat at the station, and fiddle with my phone. No one called in the last few hours. Nissi did text something. It said "Tacos" and then a minute later she said "Sorry."

She was already having meals without me. This sucks, like sucks. I heard the bus's brakes squeak in the front of the station, and grabbed my bags and my ticket. I made my way outside, and into the line boarding the bus.

All types of people were going to Seattle, and maybe they'd actually want to be there. I really didn't want to be there. But here I was, getting on a bus to go back home. I walked up the bus steps, handing gym ticket to the driver. He stamped it, and handed it back to me. Seat '3D'

I looked up and down the aisles, until I found it. I looked up, and opened the over head compartment, to place my suitcase. I was reaching, but it wasn't going in, until I saw a pair of big hands pushing it in for me. I looked back and saw the most beautiful man in my life.

This happened in Brooklyn, a little to much. People from everywhere walking the streets with their good looks. He winked at me, and walked over to his seat. I wasn't one for a random hook up, because I've only had one and it was special.

But damn, this could be special too.

I shook my mind of the gorgeous man, and took my seat. There was a socket so I could charge my phone, and listen to music.

The bus was driving already, almost on the highway, when my phone screen lit up.

"Mom calling ..."

My finger hovered over the green little call button, but I hit the red one instead.
