→ "Nissi or bust! She'll come over and kick drop you into next century."

The movie finished, and after many failed attempts to not cry, I cried at least two times. I saw Pacer cry once too, he didn't even try to hide it!

We were heading back to his place when I got a call from Nissi, which was weird because she was supposed to be in class. And so, I picked up the call only to be met with a bunch of screaming and a loud gasp.

"Nissi are you watching Pitch?" I asked quickly and I heard a small 'yes, yes, yup.' "Nissi! Tell me what happened!"

"Anna, your not gonna friggen believe me or understand either! Your on episode six!" She shouted back at me, she was right. But she was screaming and gasping, that sounded like a ship setting sail. Who was it?!

"I don't care! Tell me, or when I get back I won't make you soup! You love my soup!" I demanded her, and she snickered on the other side of the call. Why would she snicker? She said she loved my- "You don't like my chicken noodle soup?!"

"Nope, I was just trying to be nice but, that soup tasted like water." She bluntly admitted, and continued to laugh on the other end of the phone. "Where are you?"

"I just came back from watching Moana. Oh my god! That moves was! Wow! Graphics! Wow!" I fan-girled to her as I looked out the window. "And I'm in the car with Pacer."

"Wait you went to he movi- put me on speaker." She told me, and I pushed the speaker button and placed the phone inside the cup holder. "Pacer?"

He looked down at my phone and then at me. "Yes?"

"This is Nissi, Anna's best friend from Brooklyn, and let me just say this. You are a fine guy! I heard you have been taking care of my sweet puppy since she left the nest! I hereby give you my blessing to ask Anna to go steady with you. Give her your old letterman jacket! Oh an-" Before Nissi could make this scar ride any awkward, I took her of speaker.

"Bye Nissi, love you." I said over her voice as I ended the call.

Pacer, being Dr.smiles, was laughing it up. I guess to him it wasn't as awkward. I laughed a little too, but I was scared of what was coming next. I mean, you don't just become a couple after two dates. Well, two dates and two dinners.

Out whole situation was complicated. I wouldn't blame him if he had asked, I would probably say yes.

Holy.

"Anna, I've got my letterman jacket in my basement, but I'm never going down there." He playfully said, his eyes focusing on the road. We were like a block away from his house.

"Why? Afraid of spiders or something?" I asked jokingly, and he looked over at me once before shifting in his seat. "Pacer! We have the same fear! holy guacamole, you might as well just settle down with me."

The words left my mouth, and I cringed. Oh boy, I was going off the deep end. He probably thinks I'm moving way too fas-

"Do you want me to stop the car so you could propose? Or should you just pop the question right now?" He asked, smiling and focusing on the road even more. This was really awkward, and he was lighting the mood. He's a good person.

I giggled along with him and he stopped the car. I looked out the window again and saw his house in the view. Hopefully I won't make it awkward in his own home, or he'll kick me out. Who am I kidding, he'd never do that.

I unbuckled my seatbelt and got out the seat and out of the car entirely, as Pacer walked to the door to open it.

How was I feeling what I was feeling? I only met him a few weeks ago! I didn't even know anything deep about him! And he didn't know the last thing about me!

I jogged up to him as he opened the door an let the both of us in. He took of his coat, and then took off mine. Wasn't this just a big lead on? I was leaving in the end. I'm not staying here.

He guides me to the couch in his living room and sits me down while he turns on the flatscreen. It was just some local news on, nothing too shocking. He sat across from me on the couch, and I just stared at him.

He was handsome, I didn't realize it. Or I did, and I ignored it. And he wasn't a bad person, he was actually becoming one of the nicest people I met. Nissi and Dippy both hold first place.

He always laughs or smiles. I've never seen him in a bad mood.

And I know before I said that he brings the hurt feeling with him, but he doesn't. He tries to make things better. He honestly tries to make the best out of every situation.

His eyes are faintly green. But it's the kind of green you get lost in. The way they crinkle when he laughs or smiles. Or Brightens at the thought of something. His eyes, they just make him even more- like satisfying.

He's satisfying to me. And Handsome to me, and kind to me. Nice to me.

"Kiss me." He muttered from across the couch, which sent me into a frenzy. Yes, I was staring and he might have noticed but- where did he get that thought from? Who said I wanted to kiss him?

He turned his head to face me, with his faint green eyes. "What?" I asked him, and he only smirked at my question.

"You were staring, so, I said kiss me." He said abruptly, and shrugged his shoulders. Did he not understand that I was leaving? That we couldn't do this, whatever thing, from Brooklyn and Seattle.

"Say it again?" I asked, if he really wanted to do this I- I wouldn't be opposed to it. I would like it actually. It's just what comes afterwards. What happens then?

"Anna Dillard, you heard what I said." He looked at me, I couldn't quite tell what was going on in his mind. Or what kind of look he had, it- he was just looking at me.

I stood up from my previous seat, and walked over to his side of the couch. He had his head up, looking at me, watching my every move. I sat next to him, and swung my legs over his. He placed his soft hands on the hips of my jeans and tugged me closer.

My face was inches away from his, and he was staring at me now. I could see his breathing hiked up, and he had made a small gulp. "Say it again." I whispered to him, my voice very low.

"Kiss me." He responded, nodding his head at me, telling me everything I needed to know.

I laced my hand around his neck and connected my lips with his as my eyes fluttered closed. He moved quick and kissed me back, his hand moving up my cheek to cup them. He pulled away from the kiss, and I opened my eyes. "Hold on, let me get my jacket to make it official."

I laughed and hit him over the shoulder.
