→ "You know I can't drink, so why are you making me want to take shots?"

"Yeah, so don't mix these with alcohol or anything and you'll be fine." He smiles as he passes me a jar full vitamins. Basically he was no help to me and just gave me some mumbo jumbo who he got to touch my back and clean my ears.

"I'm nineteen, again. Can't drink. Neither can you. And thanks for this load of crap." I roll my eyes again before handing off the jar to Rosalie and walking to the car.

I can faintly hear her say "She's just really off it because of the pain killers. And the whole needle thing, she hated needles growing up. Thanks see you around."

I open my side to the car and take a seat as I hear Rosalie whispering and shouting my name as she makes her way to her side of the car. I pull my seatbelt on and watch as she throws the jar of vitamins onto my lap and starts pulling out of the parking lot.

"He was nice, and they can't really give you meds meds, so just take these and I'll help you at home." She was always like this, back when we were younger. Taking care of me and being the older sister, I was like that to Iris, because she was like that to me. But I am not taking those vita-gummies and playing make believe with that Dr. giggles.

"Well, I guess we'll see." I mumbled and she looked over at me quickly and then put her eyes back on the road.

From there it was green lights and fun times. I almost debated throwing the full jar of vitamins out the car window but my finger prints were all over it, and that'd be littering. And so, I held it in my lap until we got home. I was going to put it on the doorstep and make my way to bed. Honestly, I just wanted Advil and maybe a beer and a few hours of rest.

I wasn't getting beer anyways, so just Advil and sleep.

When she parked, I basically dove out the car and speed walked to my bed. On my way I passed Kurt on the steps.

"Yeet! Get your sickness away from me!" He shouted right in my ear, and I jumped a little as my reaction.

"Shut up!" I grumbled to him and I passed him to make my way to my room.

As I got closer and closer, it was just anticipation. I opened the door and there she was. Dippy. Sitting on my bed, going through her phone. Once she saw me she rolled off the bed, and helped me get comfortable.

"Aw, sugar you probably caught the flu that's going around, sorry." She rubs my back and coos me back to health. Dippy, was such an amazing friend.

"I feel like death! And it's only my second day here, and Dippy I don't know..." I let out a growl and she lets a small scream.

"Your gone for a few months and you start growling like a dog! You've changed!" Dippy laughs and pushes me with her foot and my side starts aching. There's no one like Dippy. No one.

"Dinner, went fine. Rose is here, and so was Aidan. It wasn't awkward at all." I was using my barbie voice that I used with Dippy way back in middle school to let her know that I was being sarcastic.

"Oh, barbie. Welp, I'm sorry. But at least it couldn't get any worse than that." It was like she was asking for it to get worse. And it did!

"I freaked out on some nurse who was gonna poke me with a needle, and then there was this doctor- Ugh! He gave me vitamins!" I shouted into the bed and my voice was sounding like it was a robot.

"Oh, you mean Dr.Smiles. He's one of the good ones." Dippy joked with me. He was nice-looking, but he gave me vitamins. I'm dying, becoming an off-worlder and he gave me gummy vitamins.

"Just because he's good looking doesn't mean he's a good doctor. And he laughs a lot, like what's up with him?" I was letting of steam, and boy it felt good. But she didn't reply after that. I stuck my head up to look for her and found her with her ears pressed to the door, again.

Before I could even ask, she was bolting from the door to my window in a matter of seconds and gone with the wind she was. That meant mother was nearby, and she was leaving again.

In a matter of seconds, she was stepping through the door with soup and tea in a tray. See that caring part comes busting through, but I just can't forgive her for thinking that dad was cheating on her. Why? Where would she come up with something like that?

"I heard you gave Barbra's son a hard time, and I don't know why sweetie. He's basically your age. And he took care of you." Here she was flattering him, in all these ways just like Dippy. Maybe Dippy is y mother in disguise. That's why I never see them in the same room, at all.

Maybe it's the drugs.

Yeah, it's most likely gotta be the drugs.

"I told him I was dying and he gave me vitamins, do with that as you will." I began saying as I turned around to face her and sat up to get some soup. "And what was that about our age?" If she was trying to set me up with him, oh she was in for it.

"Nothing, just he's good looking, a doctor in training, and I don't see you bringing someone home." She teased me while setting up the soup in front of me, and stirring it for me. I could do that!

"No, I don't like him. Or his vitamins. You will never see me and him together in the same room, if you do I'll die." Snorting, I held the bowl closer to me and started eating. This time she didn't answer she just left the room in silence. Okay, maybe I struck a nerve.

Maybe I could have been nicer about it.
