Your sounds on a dreary day,
Is what keeps the sadness at bay,
It's what makes me come alive,
Like my soul works to your jive,
Through the keys of your happy tune,
My mood swings to a brand new groove,
You have so many different genres; so many different types,
Each time I see you, I see you with new eyes,
Hearing that soft melody or that swinging sound,
My feet are ready to leap off the ground,
Somehow, some way you just know what to say,
You make me forget my inhibitions as I just sway,
To your soothing chords and strumming of strings,
Oh what joy it all just brings,
To forget even for a mere moment everything around you,
Just for that second you just feel so new,
Refreshed and live; aye music that's what you do,
You enliven me and enthral me too,
So much lighter I feel with each beat of your sweet tune,
Dancing about like a beam from the moon,
The symphony or the sounds and words in complete synch wash away my fears,
With just some help from the music to my ears.
