I feel the change coming from within,
Just a single spark for now,
A soul set afire from years of building up life,
Something feels so different,
A feeling of promised and hopes come true,
I still believe; I still hope,
Only now the feeling has grown,
And the magic all around has seeped in,
I can no longer help but smile,
A smile from deep within,
No matter how things fall apart,
I will always believe,
I will always rise up strong,
Things have changed and I smile to life,
Awaiting anxiously for what it has to hold,
Broken bits slowly making sense again,
Little fragments of me,
Little shreds of my history,
The past will forever stay, but without affecting me as before,
I smile with my soul now,
No longer drawn up or painted on my face,
I smile because I am happy,
I smile because at peace,
And I cry tears of joy and of absolute relief,
That my existence, my life means something,
I smile because I am finally, finally free...
