Kisses through the window and violent waving,
What a reminder of a truth unwavering,
To be loved beyond the measure of words,
And to be held so dearly in such a cold, cold world,
Is the biggest blessing that could ever be
Something that I have been lucky and grateful to see,
Though this means a goodbye,
And many a sorry sight,
The feeling of being cherished is unshakeable,
And the mixed feelings simmering inside are inexplicable,
Being led away from you gets to be harder and harder each time,
Some comfort I draw here, with the creation of each line,
I leave you today for another time; oddly sad and traumatic I know,
Let's hold on the love, and the kisses through the window.
