Evangeline P.O.V.

I stare at myself in the mirror, twirling and frowning at the dress I put on. I've never worn this dress before, I did bought it a couple years ago but I never even bother to use it. So despite the layers of dust gathering on the beautiful packaged box, the dress still gleamed as if it was new.

My mother bought it for me as a birthday gift, I just never used it. It was a black halter dress just above the knee with lace sewn over the torso and waist. It went around my neck, only revealing my shoulders and bare arms. From the waist down, slightly flowing black transparent material stop just above my knees. It was more of a casual cocktail dress for partying, and so that's why my makeup was only a minimum with black eyeliner and red lips.

But I can't help but frown at my reflection. Stefan's necklace lay on my neck visible for the whole world to see as I look at myself up and down. I should be going by now, the girls promised to meet up at the lockwood estate. But I felt so shy and uncomfortable at what I was looking at in the mirror.

"Hey, you ready to..." Stefan knocks on my door, cutting short as he stares at me in that black halter dress. His mouth hangs open, drinking me in as he stops moving. "Do you like it?" I frown, twirling in front of him. He closes his mouth and shakes his head trying to regain his figure. "Um.., I..." He mumbles stepping closer still looking at me with intensity.

"Oh come on, say something!" I groaned hands on my hips as my brown wavy hair fell over my eyes. "I think..." He begins grabbing my hands. He was wearing a black T'shirt with blue jeans and a coat over his shoulders. "That you look absolutely breath taking." He smiles, drawing me closer. "Oh please, you only say that because I'm wearing this dress." I scoffed, smiling playfully at him.

"True..." He nods, smiling. "Hey!" I hit him lightly. "But that's the thing,"He stops me cupping my cheek with one hand as I stare at those brown eyes that I love. "I don't need you wearing anything to take my breath away." He smiles. I cocked an eyebrow, "So you're saying I should be naked?" I teased, poking his chin.

"No, the truth is, you take my breath away every time you walked in a room." He confessed. I tilted my head, drinking in this new information. And then Stefan's lips were on my mine, ravishing every bit of them as I kissed back just as hungrily.

His hands went around my waist, trapping me to him as I wrapped my hands around his neck. The kiss was sweet, and pure but there was a bit of lust in it too. I don't know how long we were kissing but I didn't want it to end.

"Excuse me, was I interrupting?" Jenna fakes coughs as she stares at us with hands folded. I pulled away from Stefan, trying to fix the dress that had gone way up for my liking. "Hey, Aunt Jenna, anything I could help with?" I smile letting go of Stefan as I followed Jenna downstairs. We should really stop meeting up like this with Jenna, honestly.

"Oh please, don't let me stop you!" Jenna sarcastically says walking down the stairs. "Jenna..." I groaned as I walked after her, Stefan following from behind. Great, I have a feeling we'll have DejaVu right now.

"I'm sorry, next time I promise I'll do it privately." I apologized shooting a wink at Stefan as he smirks. "It's not you." Jenna interrupts, sighing as she leaned against the counter.

"What now?" I asked. "Okay, don't be mad at me okay?" Jenna grimaces watching me. I rolled my eyes. "What did they do now?" I laughed as Jenna breaths out a sigh of relief. "Elena and Jeremy snuck out to go to the lockwoods party." She finally says.
