Evangeline P.O.V
"Tyler, what do you mean you're a werewolf?" I was confused. I had no idea what was wrong with him. He shifts uneasily in his seat which was right in front of me and shakes his head. We were seated at my usual corner of the grill.
"I'm a werewolf, how many times do I have say it?" He snaps at me, growing agitated. "Okay, hold on there, you want me to help you, there's no reason to snap," I glared at him. He want's my help and he's acting like shit.
"Sorry," He sighs, pinching his nose. "It's getting worse now, ever since that founders party," He mumbles. "Explain from the beginning, and then I'll tell you everything," I urged him, gesturing. He nods at me before his eyes go unfocused.
"You know Mason Lockwood?" He asks me. "He's back in town?" I said surprised. Its been a while since he came back. After all he was the black sheep of the Lockwoods. "Since a month ago yeah, but that's not the crazy part." He leans forward and keeps his voice low.
"He told me everything. He says his a werewolf and that there's such things as Vampires and Witches." He shakes his head at me and laughs sarcastically. "Mason told you all that?" I backed away, leaning against my chair.
"Yup," He pops the 'P' and once more rubbed his eyes. "I can't believe this. I didn't believe him at first until the founder's party when there was a full moon. Mason told me to follow him and he chained himself to a freaking wall and shifted into a wolf Evangeline. Right in front of my eyes!" Tyler looked hysterical.
What worried me was how he knew I was part of this supernatural thing. "Slow down Tyler, so Mason turned into a wolf?" I tried to calm him but it seems he's more or less losing it. "Yeah!" His voice rang loudly.
I looked around and noticed some people staring our way and shot him a look. "Tyler, how does... Mason, know all this?" I gestured around us, and me specifically. "I dont know Eva. I thought he was lying until he told me everything about you and Elena and that you both were doppel-whatever's. Bonnie's a witch and the Salvatore's are Vampires." He listed scratching his hair.
Okay wow, how the hell did Mason know all this? Has he been spying on us? That's not good. Not good at all. "Tyler what is Mason doing back in town?" I softly spoke levelling my eyes to his. I needed to know what he was up to.
"I don't know Eva. He won't tell me anything. He just said I shouldn't hurt anybody near to death. What does that mean?! Im afraid I already did hurt someone!" He kept on rubbing his face and clenching his fists. How the hell do I calm him? "Tyler tell me how Vicky turned into a vampire." My voice was hard and demanding. Did someone turned her?
Oh, god. Matt. How is he going to react? "Eva... I killed her..."
"WHAT?" I shouted, standing up now, the chair toppling over. Vicky's dead? "Wait, let me explain. It was an accident. We were drunk, and dancing and somehow I was holding her and she just slipped from my grasp and banged her head over the table. I was so shocked I just stood there until she came gasping back to life,"
Was Tyler crazy? Who the hell gave her blood? "She's in transition?" I whispered, sitting back down, my voice filled with shock. "I didn't know what to do, I went to Matt and he just... He was so shock and horrified, he told me to leave while he carried Vicky in his house. I killed someone Eva, now I'm going to turn to a werewolf every full moon." His voice was broken. He was afraid.
What could I tell him? I was too shock. I was only gone for a day! Knowing Matt, I know I was the first one he'll probably go to, but how come... No... They wouldn't. They couldn't have...
Surely- Surely, my friends would tell me? They wouldn't have lied right?
"When did this happen?" My voice was deadly cold. I knew what the answer was before he even answered. I thought maybe today was going to be a no stress day for me. Apparently I was wrong.
