"No! No! No!" I yelled, furiously running a hand over my hair as I walked away from my kitchen.  "Okay, look. Let's just hear him out," Alaric calmly suggested, his hand held out at me as he follows me out.

"You're joking!" I gaped at him, unable to believe he had said that. Alaric gives me a sharp look and points upstairs with a finger on his lips, reminding me that Jenna, Jeremy and Elena should be asleep by now.

I, was suppose to be asleep now. But Alaric woke me up nearly scaring me half to death because Blondie here wanted to talk. "Yeah, just listen to what your dad over here says," The blond haired vampire, says. A smirk on his face and a tiny mischief in his black eyes.

He was seated on my kitchen chair.

In my house.

Where Jenna, Jeremy and Elena sleeps.

"I'm not her dad-"

"You asshole!" I lunge forward towards the vampire saying the words just as Alaric barely caught me. His large hands wrap around my waist pulling me back with a weary look. "Eva, calm down!" He demands, glaring at me as I struggled against his grip. "Stay calm?! Stay calm!? I am calm!" He lets me go, and I straighten myself, fixing my outfit properly. As I maintain eye contact with Alaric I could feel the tension growing in the room.

Alaric raises an eyebrow and gestures to me a you-are-not-even-calm-yet-look. I fold my hands, and bit my lip, forcing my breath to stay steady. Once I was some-what calm. I gave Alaric a sarcastic smile.

"It's not like the sight of this vampire who nearly killed Elena irritates me!" I smiled, glaring venomously at the blond vampire. Blondie holds out his hands and shrugs. "Evangeline, let's just hear what he has to say." Alaric says again, tired at how I was acting. Hello!? Blondie here nearly killed Elena last week!

All because I was too busy helping Ric modifying his weapons. I had gotten a call from Stefan that Elena was attacked and that they caught the culprit. AKA Blondie. So when I thought that Stefan killed this piece of shit.

He had locked blondie in the cellar downstairs. Somehow blondie escaped and that's how we got into this scenario. Don't even ask me why Stefan didnt kill Blondie. "Look you think I would come all this way without a reason? Just hear me out!" Blondie whispered pleaded standing up from his position.

"Sure, talk about how you nearly murdered my twin sister." I hissed, pointing a finger at him and walking a few steps forward with a threatening phase.

No One.

And I mean no one.

Hurts my family.

Elena can be a bitch sometimes but yeah, she's still my sister. "To be quite honest, I thought she was you." He confess, placing his hands in his pockets. I gave him a side glare, not believing it. "You guys look alike! It's hard to see who's who since the both of you are doppelgangers!" He says loudly. This time it was Alaric giving him a sharp look.

There we go again. Doppelgangers. "What is with the word doppelgangers!?" I screeched in frustration, wanting to knock my head against the wall numerous times at that word. "Its been 500 years since the last doppelganger was born. Now that you're here. With a twin sister that so happens to be a doppelganger too, everybody want's a piece of you." Blondie explained.

"So you're saying, their being hunted?" Alaric speaks out, worry in his face. "Pretty much, why do you think I'm here?" He says in a duh tone. "Okay, just tell me." I began looking out the window from the kitchen and into the dark skies. "Why? Why am I so important?" I demanded, looking back at him.
