"Up, and at em little brother," I grinned as I pulled the covers off Jeremy's bed. Jeremy groaned loudly, and placed a pillow on his head. "Jeremy, get up! It's your first day of work." I said happily, moving to open his curtains.

When I did, sunlight drew in and instantly lit his room. Jeremy groaned once more. "Five more minutes," He called out his voice muffled against his pillow. "No, get up Jer, you're going to be late. Matt was kind enough to lend you a helping hand to get this job," I said, hands on my hips.

I stared at Jeremy's mirror in his room and straighten out my red blazer with a flower dress underneath. I pulled my wavy hair to the side, making it fall over. "You know this wasn't my idea," Jeremy said, still lying face down. "No, it wasn't. But you still need to go to work." I demanded, now glaring at him.

Sighing loudly and letting out a string of curses he reluctantly sat up, his hair in a mess. "Im up. But I'm still not going," He puts his hands up and falls back down. "Jeremy," I sighed, sitting on the edge of his bed. I look around to make sure no one was listening.

"Just because we kill Vampire's does not mean you get to divulge yourself away from normal human things. Like going to work or even going to school." I reasoned with him, keeping my voice low. Jeremy looks up to the ceiling his eyes thoughtful.

"Jer, I don't want you're last years of high school to be just about killing Vampires or saving Mystic Falls. I just want you to have a normal life outside of it," I pat his knee, smiling weakly. "Fine," He closes his eyes and sat back up. "Only because of your attempts in guilt tripping me," he smiles.

"Thanks Jer," I grinned getting up and heading for the door. I turned back once more to make sure he was getting up and raised an eyebrow when I saw he wasn't moving. "I'm going, I'm going." He says getting up and walking towards his door.

I smiled happily at him and turned not before bumping into someone. "What the-" My eyes widen at what I was seeing. "Eva, Jeremy!" Aunt Jenna said, surprise in her voice as she appeared on the stairs behind the person I had hit. The person I had bumped into was Alaric Saltzman. "Jenna?" I said, looking between her and Alaric . Alaric had no shirt on and from the looks of it, Jenna was wearing his shirt. His hair was a mess.

Jeremy stood by the doorway his expression exactly like mine. "Hey guys!" Alaric commented trying to ease the awkward tension. Which was hard considering he was half naked. "Hey..." I trailed off. "Junky monkey?" He asks holding out a bowl. I frowned at him not sure what to do.

"I'm sorry," Jenna looks at me, guiltily. "Right, I'm going now. Because I'm naked." Alaric turns back around to go inside Jenna's room. I closed my half open mouth and looked at Jenna who was smiling widely. "Okay..." Jeremy laughs closing his bedroom door to change.

Jenna laughs at me which I returned and she left the scene. I shook my head, still trying to figure out how this all got into place as I walked downstairs. "My aunt and my teacher. Not weird at all, I shook my head.

"Elena, what are you doing?" I asked once I noticed her sitting on the couch alone staring into space. "Hey sis, just thinking." She shrugs folding her arms. "Hey? What's wrong?" I frowned, sitting next to her. She doesn't meet my eyes instead she looks down. "What happened?" I asked once more, nudging her.

Her doe eyes cast at mine uneasily before sighing. "Eva, do you believe in finding your happily ever afters?" She suddenly asked. I blinked in shock. "Well, that depends on what you're implying," I laughed, raising an eyebrow. "I mean by doing what's right in your life. You know? Living your dreams and what not." She looks at me.

"Living your dreams? Elena you're not making any sense." I tensed up, worried. She stands up and began pacing across the living room. "Evangeline, I want to find my happily ever after." She whispers quietly. What was she implying? That she wasn't happy? "Elena, I don't understand." I stood up, waking towards her. There was a tension growing in the room any moment and it was going to snap.
