Evangeline P.O.V.
Punch,
Left dodge,
right,
lower kick.
Repeat.
My breaths are coming out in short pants as I rapidly punched the trunk of a tree where we usually train. Which was deep in the forest somewhere near the Boarding house. Marks on the gloves I wore mark the trunk reminding me of the anger I had felt inside me.
I didn't even mind that I had just came out of the hospital or if some random vampire healed me again, while I was passed out on the floor. Why did that sounded familiar? At least I knew this unknown Vampire was a man. An obsessed Vampire I suppose. The very thought made my blood boil. Made me feel as if I was going to explode.
Left dodge,
right kick,
lower kick.
Upper punch.
My fists came in contact with the trunk, making a loud crack sound as I pulled away. "Shit!" I cursed, holding my hand. I pulled the glove off and frown at the already growing red skin on my knuckles. "This is not my day!" I complained out loud, rubbing my bruised knuckles. I didn't know I had punched that hard.
"Evangeline?" That voice I would remember anywhere nearly made me look at his direction. Instead I decided to suck it up and put my glove back on. Raising my fists, I continue to rapidly punch the tree trunk. Not caring if my knuckles were getting bruiser by the minute.
"Evangeline, I know you can hear me, You're just ignoring me." Stefan sighed, stopping in his tracks behind me. "What do you want Stefan?" I said, not a trace of emotions in my voice. "Stop it," He scolded lightly. I felt him walk to stand beside me so he could properly looked at me.
"Stop what huh? I'm training, I'm catching up to what I lost that morning when I fainted." I looked at him, a sarcastic smile on my face as I turn away. "Oh wait, you wouldn't know because you weren't there!" I yelled, my back to him as I repeatedly punch my mark on the tree.
"Look, I know your mad-" He began, placing his hands on his hips. "Mad?! I'm not mad!" I raised my voice and stopped punching, swirling around to meet his gaze. "What could possibly make you have that idea?!" I yelled, my ponytail I had tied up coming undone, spilling over my shoulders.
"Evangeline I can explain. I didn't mean to leave you alone." Stefan pleaded, needing for me to listen. I raised my fists at him and begin throwing punches to which he dodged.
"You-don't-" I went for his chest, he blocked me and grabbed hold of my hand.
"understand-how-scared" I pulled away and kicked his shin making him grimace as he fought to catch up with me.
"I-was!" I yelled loudly finally stopping my actions as I tried to calm my breathing. "I was alone, scared and afraid and the first thing I saw when I woke up was a nurse asking me if I was okay and you were not there!" I screamed, backing away, fear finally taking over me.
"You were suppose to be there but you weren't because all you do is give excuses and leaving using that bullshit story about finding out more why the Witches attacked Mystic Falls!" I jabbed my finger on his chest harshly, all the while Stefan's gaze never once waver from mine. His eyes held regret, fear and probably a lot more but I was to busy raging. He looked so distracted.
"Where were you Stefan?!" I demanded, throwing my gloves down onto the forest floor. "I came back as soon as I heard, but seeing you like that. And I couldn't do anything about it Eva. So I'm sorry. Im sorry for leaving you alone." Stefan's gaze tower over me, as he took tentative steps towards where i was standing.
