"Jenna!" I yelled, banging on her door. A loud groan escaped from the room. I smiled and pushed open the door only to see Aunt Jenna on the bed, flat on her face. "Good morning Jenna," I smiled poking her side. She swatted me away, hair covering her face.

I rolled my eyes at her behaviour reminding me of what I had to do to wake Jeremy. "Jenna Wake up!" I yelled in her ear. She abruptly stood up, brownish blond hair covering her face. "What!?" She says angrily, rubbing her ear. I sighed and stood up. "Hello? Today? Meeting?" I reminded her.

She frowns at me before suddenly gasping. "Oh, Shit!" She curses standing up and running around the room for her clothes. I smirked at her state as she ran around like a headless chicken. "Damn it! I'm late!" She says putting on her jeans. I shrugged and silently walked out leaving Aunt Jenna to get ready.

As I walked downstairs, I stop by Elena and Jeremy's room surprise to see that the both of them were gone. "Elena? Jeremy?" I shout out, walking downstairs. I frown in worry, my mind going back to the night were we found out Alaric was a vampire hunter. "Jeremy- oh God!" I yell, startled to find Alaric in my Kitchen.

"Ops, sorry Eva," Alaric smiles, sheepishly drinking a bottle of water. "Mr Saltzman what are you?" I couldnt even finish my sentence I was too shock to find him here. And a little afraid considering the circumstances.

"Sorry, I'm suppose to be picking up your aunt but I was thirsty and..." He gestures around an awkward smile on his face. "Uh, Yeah. She's just getting ready," I cleared my throat watching his every move as I move to get a water bottle on the counter.

He moves to the side, leaning against the counter as I grabbed the bottle. "I know this must be weird for you," He confess scratching his hair. "Mm... hm." I mumbled opening the bottle cap, surprise to find it was already open. I looked down at the bottle and shrugged, feeling Alaric's gaze on me.

"But anyway, I've been meaning to ask you," He coughs getting my attention. "With everything going on lately, Um... with you passing out- I heard- and then that big argument with your sister." Alaric, softly voiced.

I sighed loudly, and tip the water in my mouth. Surprise to find it bitter and weird I scrunch up my face and spit back the water in the sink. "Urgh, what was that?" I spat out, wiping the water of my face. It tasted horrible. Like so many bad things stuffed in one place. "Hey, you alright?" Alaric asked concern in his voice. "Im fine," I waved him off throwing the bottle of water in the trash.

"Something must've gotten in when the cap was open," I laughed wiping my hands. "Probably," He smiled back. I knew he was probably waiting for my answer, I didn't want to say anything but if Alaric was really a Vampire hunter I needed him to know I had nothing to do with anything.

"Well, if you wanted to know if Im doing alright, Yeah, I am." I responded, putting one hand on my hip. "You're a bad liar," He jokes, sitting down on a stool. I raised my eyebrows at him surprise to find that he had notice.

"What is it to you anyway?" I stubbornly said, with folded hands. He looks at me ridiculously before scoffing. "Is it that bad that a teacher should be worried for the welfare of his students?" He said with a pointed look. Damn, smartass.

"Okay fine," I threw my hands in surrender, leaning against the counter in front of him. My braided hair fell over my shoulder as I looked directly in his eye. "Dehydration and exhaustion was what caused me to pass out. That was probably because I tired so hard taking care of my siblings and what did they do? Blame me, tear me, Literally ripped my heart out. So yes Mr Saltzman, Im not doing fine," I stopped myself, unable to believe I just poured out everything to my history teacher.
