Evangeline P.O.V.

"No. No! You can't leave me here!" Katherine shouts, struggling to stand on her two feet. I watch her quietly, Elijah next to me as we guarded the entrance of the tomb. The tomb where Damon had long thought Katherine was inside.

"Katherine begging, that's a sight to see." Damon voice filed the room appearing behind me. I turned, watching as his features darken at the very woman who led him on. "Bonnie?" I asked worriedly, looking at him. He sees Elijah in the room and not-so-obviously walks closer to me.

"She's fine, I'll tell you later." He nods at me, leaning one hand over the wall. "Damon," Elijah greets. "Evangeline." Elijah looks at me and shoots me a look. He was going to leave now, but he wanted to make sure the deal was still on. I nodded in return. I understood what he meant.

Without another word, he sped out the tomb leaving only me, Damon and Katherine. She shakily, pounds on the barrier preventing her from going out, a panic look on her face. "You can't leave me here!" She shouts, angry at the both of us.

"Who's idea was it to bring her here?" Damon asks, ignoring Katherine as he looks at me curiously. "Mine," I shrugged. "You spent most of your vampire life thinking she was in here. Seems fitting that she belongs here right?" I smiled, a dark meaning behind my words.

"You're idiots! You have no idea what you've done!" She screams, banging on the barrier with so much force it was a wonder it didn't crack. "After everything you did Katherine, you deserve not to speak." I hissed, glaring at her. Damon grabs my shoulder, pulling me slightly back.

"Its over, you're done Katherine." Damon agrees, his hand never leaving my shoulder. Katherine sees the movement. Her lips curled up into a snarl. "You think you won huh? Guess what?! Klaus is still coming! You may have delayed him but he is coming for you! And he will not stop!" She bared her fangs, fists clenched in anger.

"Until then, we still have a little time." I waved Katherine's comment away and gestured to Damon to start closing the tomb. Katherine's eyes widen in panic. "No! Don't do this! Please, no!" She begged, pleading mercilessly.

"You need me Damon! Evangeline and Elena are doppelgangers, they will be used in Klaus's sacrifice!" She abruptly says. Damon stilled, his eyes emotionless. I tapped my foot impatiently. Damon slowly turns to meet me a questioning look in his eyes.

I sighed, "I'll tell you all about it later." He looked angry. I knew he was because I have not told him what Klaus planned on doing in the first place. "Damon don't!" Damon ignores Katherine's pleas and slowly starts moving the tomb door. She sees that pleading to Damon won't work and frantically turned to me.

"You can't trust Elijah, Evangeline! He's Klaus's brother! Did you really think he would be on your side?!"She questioned. "He put you in this tomb." I replied monotone. How can Elijah betray me? He made a deal for gods sake!

"Its all an act! Elijah's had been planning on giving you up to Klaus all along! Why else would he have came earlier? Why else would he have made you trust him?!" Her words were like jabs to the gut.

They sparked a little truth that made me frowned. Was it true? It couldn't be... "Goodbye Katherine." Damon gravely says, finally closing the tomb. "No! Damon, you need me! You need me!" Her voice echoed behind the stone door, cries of anguish filling the room.

I stood still, arms wrapped around myself as I stared at nothing. Katherine's words were spinning in my head. All this time, Elijah had been helping me. But had planned on killing me all along?

"Lets go," Damon snaps me away from my thoughts and back to reality. "We can discuss all that back at the residence. I think the others deserve to know."
