Chapter 7 《Edited By: @keepfaithmyfriend.》
Amber
I woke up unusually early, and surprisingly relaxed.
After checking the time, I noticed it was 8:32 a.m. Well, it was early for me, anyway. Once I washed my face and brushed my teeth, I went to check on Robin.
He was still asleep, so I decided to leave him alone until breakfast was done. Pulling my hair in a messy bun, I walked to the kitchen and set out the ingredients. After the stove heated, I began to cook the eggs. The smell of the scrambled eggs made my mouth water just a little that my stomach growled loudly.
After I made sure everything was ready, I ran to Robin’s room.
“Robin!” I yelled.
“Hmm?” he hummed softly, and then tossed in his bed.
“Wake up sleepy head!” I demanded. I went to the curtains, pulling them open and therefore allowing light to flood into the room.
Robin’s eyes squeezed tightly shut and groaned in dread. He grabbed a nearby pillow and pressed it against his face, avoiding the morning sun. “Get out,” he mumbled.
“Wake up,” I said again, persisting.
“No. What could you do about it anyway, young lady?” Robin argued through the pillow.
"Young lady?" I raised an eyebrow and planted my fists on my hips.
"Yes. I meant what I said,” Robin smirked, jutting out his lower lip.
"Oh, that is right." I smiled evilly and left to the kitchen. Opening the freezer, I got an ice cube and ran back to his room. Once I slid the ice cube in his shirt, he shot up from his bed glaring at me. I had to admit, he looked intimidating. His eyes were bloodshot and his hair was messy. He also seemed to be contemplating four different ways to kill me.
“What did you just do?” he asked slowly, his glare burning a whole straight through me.
"Just a bit of what a young lady can do. What are you gonna do about it, young man?" I sneered.
"Well, why don’t I show you?" He jumped from his bed, and unfortunately I didn't have time to run away. I turned around to find myself being slung over his shoulder.
"Robbie, Let me down!" I squealed loudly, stretching out the e in his name. He put me down on the sofa, but kept holding both of my wrist in one hand of his. God, this boy had the palms of an elephant!
“Let go of my hand!” I laughed shrilly, but his smirk only deepened.
“Nope. Not until you say I will never wake Robin up like that again.”
"Okay, okay. I will never wake you up that way again, Robbie.” I was still laughing as he released my hands.
"Good little girl," he said patronizingly, and I rolled my eyes in a playful motion.
"Go shower. You smell like a dead pig," I teased, and he rolled his eyes as well.
"You're naughty," he pouted, crossing his arms over his chest. I let out a giggle and then gave him a peck on the cheek before running back to the kitchen.
After preparing a plate for Marie and eating with Robin, it was time to leave. I do not train these days, so I decided to take a jog around the block.
"Bye Robin. I’m leaving!" I yelled at him from the guest room that is practically my room.
"Where are you going?"
