Chapter 20
4 months later..
Amber
4 months passed, and with everyday that passes with Daniel, I love him more and more. He's the kind of a perfect guy. Yeah, he is overprotective, and it sometimes makes me feel that I don't have any privacy, but I know that it's out of love.
We're back to Uni, and I met new friends. Leo is a perfect friend, but Daniel doesn't like him. Everytime Daniel sees me sitting with Leo studying or whatever, we usually end up fighting. Yeah okay, we fight like babies. Just babbling curse words, and rolling eyes, and after 10 minutes, you'll find us cuddling together in front of a romantic movie while eating pizza.
I never thought that Daniel would be that caring. Yeah, I must admit, I thought of him just the same way that my mother did. "A boxer? Oh! Shit" was the first thing that came in mind, but when I started to know him better. I learned that he may be merciless in the ring, but with me he's prince charming.
"Never Judge a book by it's cover" I finally understood this quote.
Robin is another story. If I said that Daniel hates him, I won't be exaggerating. I personally never use the word 'hate' because hate is such a big word. You may not like someone, but hate him is such a big deal. The problem is that Robin doesn't like Daniel as well, and I feel that he's provoking Daniel by putting his hand around my waist or shoulder when Daniel comes with me to the school. I am not sure if he means it though. I mean why would he do that?! It's not that he loves me!!
"We'll stop here now. See you next wednesday. Enjoy your weekend. You're dismissed" Sir Christopher, my religion professor ended the lecture in his usual way. I immediately started to gather my notes.
"You're going home?" Leo asked gathering his thing beside me.
"No, Daniel has a very important match, and I have to be by his side." I sighed zipping my bag.
"You don't look excited about the idea" he raised a brow throwing his backbag over his shoulder while walking by my side out of the door.
"It's not like this. I'm just worried. It's a very dangerous match. I hate this game so much." I rolled my eyes.
"But he's enjoying it. You should support him." Leo said in a matter of fact.
"That's why I am going with him." I shrugged with a smile.
"I am going to see the guys there before he comes." Leo smiled, and I chuckled.
"Kay. Bye." I walked the other way towards the exit.
I found Daniel leaning on his car. When he saw me, he smiled widely approaching me.
"Hey, babe." He pulled me in a hug.
"Good morning." I pulled away giving him a light peck.
"Let's go." I smiled as he opened my door.
He started the car to drive on the main route. We sat in silence listening to the rhythm of the soft music playing of the radio.
"How was your day?" Daniel asked sliding his hand on my lap.
"Good. Yours?" I turned to him.
"Normal. Just thinking of you" He smiled cheekily, and I shook my head blushing.
"From where do you get these words, you flirt?!" I furrowed my brows playfully.
"From here," He took my hand putting it on his chest, and I just groaned playfully trying to hide my blush.
