I was currently sitting in my towel waiting for Sophie to pick a dress for me. She was bored and I didn't know what to wear, so she came here to save me.

"I think this one will be nice" she said holding a short blue dress.

"I don't like this one." I shook my head

"Why?" She frowned

"Because I look like a slut in it. Can't you see how long is it!"

"Girl live your life" She whined

"I am going to see his uncle. It's like a family date not a party to think about it!"

"What about this one?! She sighed getting out a black dress.

"Too much for a house.. and it's a bit formal" I dismissed

"God! That's the 17th dress that you don't like !!" She stomped as a child.

"Because they don't match!! I don't wanna look out of the place !!" She rolled her eyes and turned to the closet again.

"THIS ONE IS PERFECT" she got out a delicate blue dress.

"It's not bad, but.." I hesitated

"Go put it on" she instucted throwing it on my bed and leaving.

"10 minutes and I will storm in. Don't say I didn't warn you" she glared and I rolled my eyes putting on my clothes. Few minutes later she came in.

"It's beautiful.. come let's start your hair and make up" She smilled pulling me in front of her.

"So you and Daniel.." she winked. Although I she was standing behind me, I could see her reflection in the mirror. "We're just friends Sophie.." I said disappointed in my own words.

"You love him.. I know you love him" She nodded her head as if she is telling herself 'I am right'.

"I don't know.. I am afraid" I shook my head.

"You're afaid of Daniel? Or you're afraid of Love?" She asked curlying a strand of my hair.

"I don't know .. I am afraid to love him.. I am afraid that I would be attatched to him and he will turn out like.. like that man.. I can't trust anyone" I shook my head blinking back tears.

"But you already love him. He loves you, as well. He is just a Nervous freak, but by the way you two look at each other makes it crystal clear. Not every man is like.." She closed her eyes and sighed.

"Not every man is like 'that man'. You have George, Edward, Robin, Sir Wilson .. all of these are real men. You can't stay single the rest of you life just because of a haunted past"

"I don't know" I closed my eyes exhaling

"You mean that if Daniel asked you to be his girlfriend today, you will tell him 'sorry I am afraid that you'll turn to a monster like my -" she started ,but I cut her off.

"Sophie Stop now! I am tired.. You don't how hard it is to me even if years passed. Who even told you that Daniel thinks of me that way? Huh? If he has feelings for me, he wouldn't stay till now to say it!!" I turned to her talking sternly.

"Okay. May you calm down. I will shut up okay. Here" she fake zipped her lips as we did when we were children. I sighed and sat back down. She continued working in silence.

"We're finished" She smiled proudly.

I won't lie.. For the first time in many years I felt beautiful. "Thank you Sophie" I smiled to her.
