Chapter 15

Daniel

She took me inside ,and I took off my jacket and shoes at the door.

"I ordered pizza. You like it right?"

"Who doesn't like pizza?" I joked

"Well, I don't know actually" She giggled.

"Let's get in the living room" She suggested and I nodded following her inside.

Amber plopped down on the couch and I sat next to her.

"So, What's up?" She asked looking at me.

"Too much going on." I sighed.

"What is the problem between you and your sister?"

"Delilah is not understanding at all. She is senstive more than she should be and I am sick of it. You say that I am controlling ,but she is more than me..." I said and put my head in my hands. Amber started rubbing my back.

"Maybe she is stressed about something." She reasoned slowly.

"I know, but I don't know how should I treat her." I sighed and sat up again.

"Amber you're a girl like her. Can you give me any advice?"

"Be more calm Daniel. Don't stress yourself out over nothing. Stop being so over protective and treating her like a child. You can't keep stalking her every move without giving her any kind of privacy like this. I don't know what happened today though" She mumbled the last part.

"Today we first had a fight because she didn't want to go to her sessions again. Of course, just thinking of the idea drives me insane. I can't stay another day in a bloody hospital doubting that she will return home Alive with me. Anyway, I called her doctor to ask her and she told me to leave Delilah as she likes. I obeyed and told her to do whatever the hell she'd like and to lighten up her mood, I took her to a car agency to take a look. There, My friend was the owner of this agency. Of course, we chatted and he gave me a cigarette ,but of course when she saw it, she started passing me glares and annoying me-"

"but don't forget that she has the right to do so. Your mum passed away from Cancer and her husband as well. Delilah is noway letting you do anything that would hurt you"

"I don't know. she wore that fucking plastic face and didn't even look up from her book when I said I was leaving"

"I think she's annoyed as much as you and even more. Of course, Paul's lecture annoyed her as well" Amber concluded

"Yeah and Paul, I went to him to calm me down ,but he sat me in front of him as a child and started lecturing me. You missed the look he gave me when Delilah said I was back to smoking" I rolled my eyes.

"What look?!"

"Like this" I glared at her nd she giggled. "You look funny" she threw her head back and I chuckled at her reaction.

"Anyway all of that is out of love, Daniel" She said after calming down and I sighed.

"You know, I passed through allot of shit and didn't enjoy my teenage days because of Edward. No boyfriend .. no dates.. I barely even slept over at my friends houses. It was always his friends that we had over who would talk with me ,but of course the were always careful because I was off limits." She rolled her eyes and looked at me directly "But now, I really appreciate what he did for me. I understand that it was out of love and care. He may be over strict sometimes ,but he is kind hearted. I learned after that, that boys at that age are mostly players and that was crystal clear when all my friends broke up with their boyfriends in less than a month." She held my hands in hers.
