We just returned home from the funeral. Everything is so depressing. Amber is crying non-stop and I'm doing my best to stay strong in front of her.
Putting your own child six feet under ground without even getting the chance to see his face or hear his voice, is the most horrible feeling in the world. It's like my heart is tearing apart and I feel like the room is so small that the walls will fall over my head.
"Come here." I whispered pulling her to sit across my lap rubbing soothing circles in her hair.
"Amber, you promised me. Please, I need you." I whispered to her and she nodded slowly rubbing tears from her face.
"Are you okay, now, darling?" Christina asked placing her hand on her daughters shoulder.
"I'm trying, mum. I'm trying." Amber sighed resting her head on my shoulder.
"Amber, darling..." Sir Brown called.
He was standing there right next to Robin with concerned look on their faces. My princess just got up wrapping her arms around them in a group hug.
"I'm sorry for your loss.." Robin sighed rubbing her back. I won't lie, I was so very freaking jealous, but I didn't want to cause a problem again for the best of all of us.
"Sir Brown-" I got up shaking his hand. "Thank you so much for coming."
"I'm sorry for your loss."
"Babe, please go take your injection now. Delilah will give it to you." I sighed as she frowned and started to protest.
"I hate these things." She whined.
"Please guys, make yourself comfortable. One minute and we'll be back." I smiled faintly at them before pulling Amber with me upstairs and to our room.
"I'm not even tired! Why would I take this shit?!" She protested.
"What's going on?" George called from the top of the stairs.
"Daniel wants to force me take the injection, now." She pouted slightly rubbing away the tears from earlier.
"What injection?"
"Vitamins that the doctor prescribed." I sighed. What is she doing? I feel like we're 5 year olds fighting around then telling daddy about it.
"We can always replace it with food." He said slowly.
"That's if she really eats!" I glared down at her and he sighed.
"Sorry, but I have to sit with my guests!" She fake smiled descending the stairs once again. If we were alone, I would've screamed at her face, but we're not, so I have to keep my mouth shut.
"Daniel, it's good that you care, but that way you're stressing her out."
"I have to care without stressing her out and always think about her feelings, right?" I asked and he nodded slowly.
"And my feelings? What about them?! He was my baby as well by the way cause it seems like everybody forgot." With that, I walked past him to our room slamming the door shut.
I don't know what got to me, but I felt like a child throwing a fit, but I just can't take it anymore. She never thinks about her health and that's so annoying!

Amber
I closed my eyes taking a deep breath once I heard the door slamming shut.
