Chapter 31:

Daniel

I don't know what happened. The last thing I remember was me puking then I became really weak to get up, so I lied on the floor to wake up in the hospital. Wow!!

"How are you feeling, now?" Doctor John asked.

"My head hurts so much and my whole body is aching." I groaned.

"Well, you should have thought of that when you were drinking." He sighed looking at some notes.

"Daniel, here I am telling you. For the last time, if this happened again, I can't promise that you'll be able to wake up. That's my last warning. I'll call sir Paul in." He walked outside and few seconds later, Paul was right in front of me.

"I-I don't know what to say." Paul was the first to cut the nerve-wrecking silence. I felt really ashamed of myself for what I did. Especially that this caused problems between Paul and Delilah before.

"I'm sorry." I whispered.

"Well, last time sorry was enough, but Daniel, this time you have to really face the consequences. From today, you'll pay for doing that to yourself, and the first thing is..." he stopped taking a deep breath making my heart race.

"...You won't be able to box anymore. You are prohibited." My eyes widened in shock. No.. that's not true.

"Paul punish me in any other way, but please don't do this." Tears formed in my eyes. Yeah, I am on the edge of crying not only for losing Amber as before but for losing...

Everything...

"That's not my descision. Your doctor said that you're not capable of doing that sort of effort anymore. I'm sorry."

"Leave me alone, please." I whispered turning to look at plain wall ahead of me as tears started to fall from my eyes.

"I will leave, but Amber was here. She was really tired and sick, so I sent her back home."

"Sick?" I asked turning to look at him.

"She actually fainted, and the bags under her eyes says that she didn't sleep for days."

"But I don't have the power to fight for her anymore." I shook my head.

"Call her, and talk together. You can sort this out." Paul persuaded.

"No... It's over." I whispered.

"As you like. I'll leave this here just in case you changed your mind." He placed the phone next to me and walked outside silently leaving me with these wars in my head.

Amber

I was with Edward in the clinic. After our little 'conflict' or whatever you may call, I agreed to do what he says because he knows better.

And here I am stuck in a room full of pictures of babies on every wall.

"Miss Amber, it's your turn." The secretary called politely.

"Come with me." I whispered to Edward.

"Can I go with her?" He asked the lady.

"If that will make her more comfortable then okay." She nodded making Edward stand up.

We walked in the other room, and I felt the shievers running down my spine. I am here to check up on my baby. Is that even possible?!

"C'mon, Amber." Edward whispered.
